New Japan ran Day 4 of the G1 CLIMAX 35 today, the first solo day for Block B.

Today’s event was held at Aore Nagaoka in Niigata and can be watched on demand on New Japan World.

The announced paid attendance was 1547.

There was a late change to the card due to Gabriel Kidd still being out with injury. He was to have faced Shingo Takagi in a Block B match. Takagi gets a free win instead. At this time Kidd is still on the card for his next scheduled match, which is Saturday against Drilla Moloney.

Match 1: Toru Yano & Boltin Oleg beat Yoshinobu Kanemaru & SANADA. Yano pinned Kanemaru.

Match 2: Jacob Austin Young & Callum Newman beat Shoma Kato & Yuya Uemura. Young pinned Kato after Jacobs Ladder.

Match 3: Dick Togo & EVIL beat Masatora Yasuda & Taichi. EVIL beat Yasuda with a scorpion deathlock.

Match 4: Hartley Jackson & Reohei Oiwa beat Daiki Nagai & Yota Tsuji. Jackson pinned Nagai after Death Valley Bomb.

Match 5: Katsuya Murashima & Hiroshi Tanahashi beat Gedo & David Finlay. Tanahashi beat Gedo with a Texas Cloverleaf.
