Tokyo Joshi Pro ran a TJPW INSPIRATION event today with the roster members that didn’t go to Canada & the US this past week, continuing their usually-quarterly series of lighter spin-off events featuring wrestlers & matches we rarely see in the promotion.
Today’s event was held at Tokyo Square in Tokyo and will be available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE Tuesday. There was no live broadcast.
The announced paid attendance was 222, a legit sellout.
No Up Up Girls because they all went overseas.
Match 1: Kakeru Sekiguchi (Independent/Freelancer) & Mahiro Kiryu beat Chika Nanase & Kira Summer. Kiryu pinned Nanase after a spinebuster.
Match 2: Mifu Ashida beat Papillon Akemi.
Match 3: Mei Suruga (Chocolate Pro Wrestling) beat Ren Konatsu.
Main Event: Arisu Endo & Haru Kazashiro beat Rika Tatsumi & Shion Kanzaki. Endo pinned Kanzaki after The 10th Law. Afterwards, Endo issued a Princess Of Princess Championship challenge to current champion Yuki Arai, who was in the US. Nothing further yet but that could be the 5/4 main event.
The next event is Friday at Shinjuku Face to resume the spring house show tour. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin at 2 AM PT/5 AM ET.
