Dragon Gate wrapped up the Rey De Parejas 2026 Tournament today in Tokyo.

Match 1: Rey De Parejas Semifinals: El Cielo & Luis Mante beat Susumu Yokosuka & KAGETORA. Mante pinned Yokosuka after Super Tigre.
Match 2: Rey De Parejas Semifinals: Yuki Yoshioka & Kota Minoura beat ISHIN & Yoshiki Kato. Minoura pinned ISHIN.
Match 3: Don Fujii, Toru Owashi & Punch Tomonaga beat Ultimo Dragon, Masaaki Mochizuki & Jiro Shinbashi. Shinbashi got scared of a Fujii piledriver and quit.
Match 4: Genki Horiguchi, Yasushi Kanda & Keni’chiro Arai beat Madoka Kikuta, KAI & Jason Lee. Horiguchi pinned KAI with Backslide From Heaven.
Match 5: YAMATO vs. Hidetaka Monma went to a 10 minute time limit draw.
Match 6: Hyo, JACKY KAMEI, Riiita, Mochizuki Junior & Gianni Valletta beat Kzy, Strong Machine J, U-T, GuC & Flamita. Valletta pinned U-T after a King Kong kneedrop. At least today Valletta was part of Love&Peace. I hope this is not a regular thing. He has to be a monster heel like he has been.
Match 7: Dragon Kid, BxB Hulk & Naruki Doi (Independent/Freelancer) beat Ryoya Tanaka, Homare & Kazuma Kimura. Kid pinned Tanaka after Ultra Huracanrana.
Main Event: Rey De Parejas Finals: El Cielo & Luis Mante beat Yuki Yoshioka & Kota Minoura to win the tournament. Cielo pinned Yoshioka after a spinning tombstone piledriver. As a result, Cielo & Mante will likely get an Open The Twin Gate Championship shot in the future.
The next event is Saturday at Hills Sunpia Yamagata in Yamagata to start the Storm Gate 2026 Tour (the September tour). There will be no live or on demand broadcast. Only 3 more broadcasts are scheduled this month out of roughly 12 events.
