All-Japan continued the Summer Action Series 2026 Tour today in Tokyo.
Today’s event was held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on AJPW.TV. This was also or will be a (taped) Samurai! TV broadcast in Japan.
The announced paid attendance was 1510, a legit sellout.
Before the event began, a memorial service for Joe Doering was held in the ring.
Match 1: Shotaro Ashino beat Yasutaka Yano by submission.
Match 2: Dan Tamura, Hokuto Omori, Seigo Tachibana & Leon De Oro (Mexico) beat Naruki Doi (Independent/Freelancer), MUSASHI, Seiki Yoshioka & Yuya Aoki (Independent/Freelancer). Tamura pinned Doi after a powerbomb.
Match 3: Suwama & Hideki Suzuki beat Go Shiozaki & Yuma Aoyagi. Suwama pinned Shiozaki after a backdrop. Too bad I missed this live, our favorite odd couple teaming once again.
Match 4: Ren Ayabe & Ryuki Honda beat Kento Miyahara & Kumaarashi. Ayabe pinned Miyahara with a dragon suplex hold.
Match 5: All-Asia Tag Team Champions Atsuki Aoyagi & Rising Hayato beat Yuma Anzai & Shota Kofuji to retain the titles. Hayato pinned Kofuji after Sid Vicious. V1 for the champs.
Main Event: All-Japan World Tag Team Champions Jun & Rei Saito beat Kengo Mashimo & Daisuke Sekimoto to retain the titles. Jun Saito pinned Mashimo after Yagiyama Cyclone. V1 for the Saitos/champs. DOOM!!! Next up: The presumably-returning-soon Xyon & Odyssey, who have to go back home semi-regularly for visa-related reasons then come back (Xyon to, I think, Australia and Odyssey to the US). That match will happen on 8/29 at Ebara Wave Arena/Ota City General Gym.
