All-Japan had previously announced an NWA World Heavyweight Championship match would take place at the 6/18/2026 event at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. With the latest NWA live events (and perhaps TV tapings to take them to their annual biggest event in late July) this weekend in the books, that match is now official. It will be current champion Silas Mason defending the 10 Pounds Of Gold (as they call the NWA World Heavyweight Championship) against Shotaro Ashino. If Ashino somehow wins the title, presumably he would defend in the US at NWA 78 on 7/25 in Philadelphia, PA.
