Dragon Gate wrapped up their July schedule today with a special standalone event, Dragon Gate Summer Festival 2024.
Today’s event was held at Kobe Sambo Hall in Kobe and can be watched on demand on DRAGONGATE NETWORK.
The announced paid attendance was 562, a super full house/very near sellout.
There were last-minute changes to the card due to Ryu Fuda being off. Left hand injury.
Match 1: Masaaki Mochizuki & Yasushi Kanda beat Mochizuki Junior & Daiki Yanagiuchi. Mochizuki pinned Yanagiuchi after Twister.
Match 2: Don Fujii, Shachihoko BOY, Takashi Yoshida & La Estrella beat Ultimo Dragon, Ho Ho Lun, Ho Li & Punch Tominaga. Estrella pinned Tominaga after Firebird Splash.
Match 3: Luis Mante & Hyo beat KAI & Jason Lee by DQ. Lee DQ’d. Ref assault.
Match 4: Madoka Kikuta won a 10 man battle royal, last eliminating Ben-K.
Match 5: Susumu Yokosuka & Kagetora beat BxB Hulk & Yosuke <3 Santamaria. Kagetora pinned Santamaria.
Main Event; YAMATO, Dragon Kid & Naruki Doi beat Strong Machine J, BIGBOSS Shimizu & U-T. YAMATO pinned U-T after Gallaria.
