New Japan 10/24/25 Results

New Japan ran Day 2 of the Super Junior Tag League today in Tokyo.

Today’s event was held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on New Japan World. This was also a live Samurai! TV broadcast in Japan.

The announced paid attendance was 1058.

There were last-minute changes to the event due to Taiji Ishimori being pulled off the card. The always-vague poor health. Everything except the main event was changed in some form. Ishimori’s league match was a forfeit win for KUSHIDA & Yuki Yoshioka as a result.

Match 1: KUSHIDA beat Zane Jay.

Match 2: Robbie X, Shingo Takagi & Yota Tsuji beat Shoma Kato, Yuki Yoshioka (Dragon Gate) & Hiroshi Tanahashi. X pinned Kato after X Express.

Match 3: Block B: Kosei Fujita & Robbie Eagles beat Dick Togo & Yoshinobu Kanemaru. Fujita pinned Togo after Neshin Special.

DDT 10/23/25 Results

DDT ran what was bulled as their final Beer Garden Pro Wrestling event of the year, which usually are held outdoors and it’s going to get colder in Japan soon.

Today’s event was held at Ueno Park Outdoor Stage in Tokyo and will be available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE late tomorrow night/Saturday morning. There was no live broadcast.

The paid attendance was not announced.

Match 1: Kazuma Sumi beat Rukiya, Hinata Kasai & Yuya Koroku in a 4-way by pinning Rukiya.

Match 2: To-y & Yuki Ishida beat Yuki Iino in a 3-way by TKO.

Match 3: Jun Akiyama, Yukio Naya & Kazusada Biguchi beat Hideki Okatani, Illusion & MJ Paul. Higuchi pinned Illusion after Brain Claw Slam.

New Japan kicked off the 2025 Super Junior Tag League today, the first of their 2 annual fall/winter tag team tournaments with this one being for the Junior Heavyweights.

There was a last-minute change to the first match due to Katsuya Murashima being pulled off the event. The always-vague poor health. Zane Jay was the replacement.

In other news, it was announced on social media that the House Of Torture Produced event on 11/19 will be a PPV on New Japan World. It is available for pre-order for 3500 yen in Japan and for $22.99 in the US.

BREAKING: Popular Independent Japan-US Women’s Promotion Shutting Down

At least for now, but it’s still tough news…the still-relatively-young independent promotion Kitsune Women’s Wrestling, based in the US but also featuring a lot of Japanese talent, announced today it was suspending operations effective immediately. It’s a one-man operation and he announced the promotion is shutting down for now due to family & personal reasons. The promotion’s Kitsune Women’s Championship and title belt will remain in Japan with current champion Yuna Manase.

The promotion was launched in 2023 in California and ran its latest events on June 7 & 8. Besides Manase, other notable wrestlers from Japan featured in the promotion included Miyu Yamashita, Tae Honma and Sayaka Unagi as well as independent US wrestlers. I didn’t really get a chance to see much of it but it has a devoted fanbase and did help bring their Japanese wrestlers over to the US a little more (as well as being step in Yamashita’s continuing path to world domination as she continues to represent Tokyo Joshi Pro worldwise). Hopefully the owner/promoter can bring it back someday but it’s too soon to say. Also, for now at least the promotion’s store on Pro Wrestling Tees is still up (it has 7 shirts available).

All-Japan wrapped up the 53rd Anniversary Tour today in Tokyo.

Today’s event was held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on AJPW.TV. This will also be a taped GAORA SPORTS broadcast in Japan at a later date. Rei Saito was a special guest on commentary.

The announced paid attendance was 1322.

Match 1: Yuma Aoyagi beat Shota Kofuji.

Stardom 10/20/25 Results

Stardom ran a Starlight Kid 10th Anniversary event today, commemorating the event for the promotion’s popular Tiger Mask-like character.

Today’s event was held at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo and was scheduled to be a live PPV but the broadcast was cancelled due to technical issues (a global network issue related to an Amazon Web Services outage early this morning), however thanks to an “emergency decision” you can watch the entire event FOR FREE on YouTube. Anyone who purchased the PPV will get refunds. (On a side note, New Japan World is also down because of this, and WRESTLE UNIVERSE is also affected. As of 10 AM PT/1 PM ET all services have been restored)

The paid attendance has not yet been announced but it was a legit advance sellout.

Tokyo Joshi Pro 10/19/25 Results

Tokyo Joshi Pro continued their fall house show tour today in Gunma.

Today’s event was held at G Messe Gunma in Gunma and will be available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE Wednesday. There was no live broadcast.

The announced paid attendance was 258, a super full house/very near sellout.

There were last-minute changes to the card because Arisu Endo & Alice Crowley, who were in different matches on the original card, wanted to team up after their International Princess Championship match yesterday. The card was shuffled as a result.

Match 1: Toga beat Ren Konatsu by submission.

Match 2: NexGene Tournament: Chika Nanase beat Kira Summer. As a result, Nanase advances to the Finals against Uta Takami. Because it’s double-elimination format, Nanase may have to beat Takami twice to win the tournament while Takami only has to beat Nanase once. The winner gets a TJPW title shot of their choice. That match will happen on 10/26 at Ryogoku KFC Hall in Tokyo.

Match 3: Miu Watanabe beat Mifu Ashida by submission.

Match 4: Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao beat Yuki Aino & Raku. Nakajima pinned Raku after a diving senton.

Match 5: Yuki Kamifuku, Wakana Uehara & Kaya Toribami beat Yuki Arai, Shino Suzuki & Uta Takami. Toribami pinned Takami.

Match 6: Arisu Endo & Alice Crowley beat Mizuki & Haru Kazashiro. Endo pinned Kazashiro after The 10th Law.

Main Event: Mahiro Kiryu & Suzume beat Miyu Yamashita & Pom Harajuku. Kiryu pinned Harajuku after a spinebuster and, for now, retained the DDT Iron Man Heavymetalweight Championship.

New Japan 10/19/25 Results

New Japan ran a special Taichi hometown event today, the first time that I can recall they’ve visited his hometown of Ishikari, which he shares his last name with although he hasn’t used it in wrestling in a long time. There was also a lot of participation from TAKA Michinoku’s JTO (Just Tap Out) promotion.

Today’s event was held at Minami Junior High School Gym in Hokkaido and can be watched on demand on New Japan World.

The announced paid attendance was 871, a legit advance sellout.

Match 1: Masatora Yasuda beat Jewel Bird (JTO).

Match 2: Katsuya Murashima & Satoshi Kojima beat Shoma Kato & Yuji Nagata. Kojima pinned Kato after a lariat.

Match 3: JTO Girls Tag Team Champions Rhythm & Tomoka Inaba beat Aoi & Azusa Inaba to retain the titles. Tomoka Inaba pinned Azusa Inaba after Tomoka Kick. V4 for the champs.

Match 4: Daiki Nagai, Hiromu Takahashi & Yota Tsuji beat Ryoma Tsukamoto, Bomber Bomber Tatsuya & Thunder Masami. Tsuji pinned Tsukamoto after Gene Blaster.

Match 5: El Desperado & Hiroshi Tanahashi beat Dick Togo & EVIL. Tanahashi beat Togo with a Texas cloverleaf.

Main Event: TAKA Michinoku, Yuya Uemura & Taichi beat Yoshinobu Kanemaru, DOUKI & SANADA. Taichi pinned Kanemaru after Black Mephisto. Taichi finished things off to send the crowd home happy and suggested a return next year was possible.

The next event is the Super Jr. Tag League 2025, the annual Junior Heavyweight tag team tournament, starting Thursday at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. Live streaming on New Japan World will begin at 2:30 AM PT/5:30 AM ET. If what New Japan has been saying on social media holds true, every remaining event this year will be available live & on demand on the service (there may be one or two PPVs though). That includes Tokyo Dome with Hiroshi Tanahashi’s retirement match (77 days to go as New Japan is counting down) and New Year Dash!! the day after.

In other news, the first match for a House Of Torture Produced event on 11/19 at Korakuen Hall has also been announced, it will be EVIL vs. Shun Skywalker (Dragon Gate) in a match chosen by EVIL himself. The event is being dubbed “Purge Night Of Torture”.
