Stardom finished up their May house show slate today in Kyoto.

Today’s event was held at Kyoto KBS Hall in Kyoto and can be watched on demand on Stardom World. You can also watch the first 3 matches FOR FREE on YouTube.

The announced paid attendance was 742, a legit sellout.

Match 1: Natsuko Tora, Konami, Saya Kamitani, Rina & Bea Priestley beat Syuri, Tomoka Inaba, Natsupoi, Yuna Mizumori & Aya Sakura. Kamitani pinned Sakura after Star Crusher.

Match 2: Hanan & Saya Iida beat Utami Hayashishita & Matoi Hamabe. Hanan pinned Hamabe with a blockbuster hold.

Match 3: Ami Sohrei, Hina, Lady C & Kiyoka Kokatsu beat Maki Itoh, Kikyo Furusawa, Waka Tsukiyama & Rian. Hina pinned Rian after a deformed jackhammer.

Match 4: Suzu Suzuki & Akira Kurogame beat Sayaka Kurara & Anne Kanaya. Kurogame pinned Kanaya.

Match 5: Saori Anou & Fuwa-chan beat Ruaka & Azusa Inaba. Fuwa-chan pinned Inaba.

Main Event: Maika, HANAKO, Koguma & Ranna Yagami beat AZM, Miyu Amasaki, Starlight Kid & Ema Maishima. HANAKO pinned Maishima after JP Coaster.

Stardom began a rather weird house show weekend today in Kobe.

The announced paid attendance was 595, a full house/near sellout.

There were late changes made to the card due to Hazuki & Maki Itoh being off the event. Hazuki-All Elite Wrestling participation in the US. Out this weekend and, based on the results of her match today, she may be out the next week as it looks like she’ll have another match next Saturday unless it is taped in advance (and even then it’s a toss-up because if the match was taped it’s not until Wednesday night US time which means Thursday in Japan). Itoh-missing.

Match 1: Utami Hayashishita beat Akira Kurogame. This marked the official in-ring return of Hayashishita to Stardom.

Match 2: Syuri, Ranna Yagami & Tomoka Inaba beat Natsuko Tora, Ruaka & Azusa Inaba. Syuri pinned Inaba after Ryutten Flame.

Match 3: Matoi Hamabe beat Waka Tsukiyama & Rian in a 3-way by pinning both.

And as it turns out, Kikyo Furusawa found Itoh in the crowd which affected the next match.

Match 4: In a handicap match, Maika & HANAKO beat Koguma, Maki Itoh & Kikyo Furusawa. Maika pinned Furusawa after a rolling lariat.

Match 5: Ami Sohrei, Hina & Kady C beat Starlight Kid, AZM & Ema Maishima. Sohrei pinned Maishima after Blue Thunder Bomb.

Match 6: Konami, Saya Kamitani, Bea Priestley & Rina beat Natsupoi, Yuna Mizumori, Aya Sakura & Anne Kanaya. Kamitani pinned Kanaya after Star Crusher.

Main Event; Saya Iida & Suzu Suzuki beat Sayaka Kurara & Hanan. Suzuki pinned Kurara after Tequila Shot.

The next event is tomorrow at Kyoto KBS Hall in Kyoto. Live streaming on Stardom World will begin TONIGHT at 9 PM PT/midnight ET.

Who knows if this is an angle, legit or her being a sore loser as always, but Stardom has a dilemma on their hand and now it’s affecting upcoming events…no Maki Itoh. She has seemingly vanished following losses at events this past week and her “disciple”, Kikyo Furusawa, has lost contact with her. Seemingly so has the promotion. And now they have been forced to make last-minute changes to Saturday’s event (and more besides this because Hazuki is now off the event too. AEW participation in the US) as a result. The original plan was for Hazuki & Koguma to face Maika & HANAKO and Itoh & Furusawa in a 3-way. Now it’s Koguma & Furusawa vs. Maika & HANAKO. However, if Furusawa finds Itoh in time it will instead be a handicap match with Itoh teaming with Koguma & Furusawa. Got all that? Actually care about Itoh’s latest stunt? (I sure don’t) And while nothing is definite yet Hazuki may be off Sunday as a result. If AEW’s Saturday TV show is live this week it’ll be at the same time as Stardom so no way Hazuki can make it back in time. But she should be back for the following event on 6/6.

UPDATE: Stardom President Taro Okada has now confirmed Hazuki is off Sunday.

UPDATE 2: They are making contingency plans for Sunday in case of no Itoh. If is scheduled to be Itoh, Furusawa, Waka Tsukiyama & Rian vs. Ami Sohrei, Lady C, Hina & Kiyoka Kokatsu if Itoh shows up or is discovered. If no Itoh, it will be a handicap match.

After the 5th match, a shocking moment occurred…Utami Hayashishita made a surprise return to the promotion 2 years after defecting to the then-new Marigold promotion. Hayashishita just left Marigold. While she seems destined to cross paths with Kamitani again in some form, first up in her return will be Akira Kurogame. That match will happen Saturday.

STARDOM QUEENS DYNASTY 2026, the promotion’s latest blowout event, is now in the books.

Match 6: Suzu Suzuki beat Starlight Kid, Maika & Natsuko Tora in a 4-way by pinning Maika. As a result, Suzuki gets the next World Of Stardom Championship shot after today.

Match 7: Wonder Of Stardom Champion Hanan beat Bea Priestley to retain the title. V1 for Hanan.

Main Event: World Of Stardom Champion Sayaka Kurara beat Maki Itoh to retain the title. V1 for Kurara. Next up: As noted above, Suzuki. Date TBA but possibly 6/20.

The next event is Tuesday at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. Live streaming on Stardom World will begin at 2:30 AM PT/5:30 AM ET.

UPDATE: It’s now official-the Kurara-Suzuki title match will be on 6/20. Also announced for 6/20 is Hanan vs. Saya Iida for the Wonder title.

The injury absences (and thus bad puns) are piling up in Stardom again…it was just announced that Mono Kohgo is the latest one sidelined. Treatment of unspecified injury. Out indefinitely but will miss the next PPV on Saturday so at least a week. A match that may have involved her had not yet been announced (only title matches have with one exception). It’s not yet known how long Kohgo will be out.

UPDATE: Unfortunately the body count keeps rising again. Add Miyu Amasaki to the injured list. The always vague poor health…but bad enough that she has been hospitalized. Out at least 2 weeks. As a result, the scheduled Goddesses Of Stardom Championship match on Saturday, when Amasaki & AZM were to defend against Hazuki & Koguma, has been POSTPONED. Ema Maishima is the replacement and it will now be a NON-TITLE match.

In a news item posted a short time ago, Stardom announced a new partnership/strategic alliance with US independent promotion Major League Wrestling (MLW), which is owned & operated by former WWE writer Court Bauer. According to the release, “The partnership will focus on player interaction and creative cooperation, creating opportunities for MLW and STARDOM players to play on new stages and in front of new audiences. This partnership reflects our shared goal of providing world-class matches and further enhancing the global presence of professional wrestling.”

Stardom has announced that two wrestlers are headed to the sidelines again for injuries, this time it’s Mei Seira & Anne Kanaya. Seira-unspecified beyond treatment. Out indefinitely. Kanaya-removal of an inserted metal plate from a prior injury. Out about a month. Announcements regarding returns will be made when appropriate.

There was a last-second change to the card due to Mei Seira being pulled off the event. The always-vague poor health. She was to have teamed with AZM, Starlight Kid & Miyu Anasaki to face Ami Sohrei, Tomoka Inaba, Hazuki & Koguma. Rian was the replacement. As a result, Rian was in 2 matches.
