Key: M-Maegashira, K-Kokusubi, S-Sekiwake, O-Ozeki, Y-Yokozuna, J-Juryo

Hitoshi (M17) beat Nishikigi (M16)
Tomokaze (M16) beat Nishikifuji (J3)
Shishi (M18) beat Tobizaru (M15)
Ryuden (M17) beat Asakoryu (M14)
Shonannoumi (M15) beat Sadanoumi (M14)
Mitakeumi (M12) beat Meisei (M13)
Roga (M11) beat Tokihayate (M13)
Churanoumi (M10) beat Daieisho (M10)
Fujinokawa (M9) beat Midorifuji (M9)
Shodai (M11) beat Kinbozan (M8)
Takanosho (M7) beat Oshoma (M7)
Ura (M8) beat Kusano (M6)
Ichiyamamoto (M5) beat Kotoshoho (M5)
Wakamotoharu (M4) beat Onokatsu (M6)
Hiradoumi (M4) beat Hakuoho (M2)
Tamawashi (M1) beat Takayasu (K)
Aonishiki (K) beat Kirishima (S)
Wakatakakage (S) beat Abi (M1)
Kotozakura (O) beat Gonoyama (M3)
Hoshoryu (Y) beat Atamifuji (M3)
Onosato (Y) beat Oho (M2)
Leader: Hoshoryu (5-0)
Of note: No Kinboshi handed out today as both Yokozuna won meaning Hoshoryu is now the only unbeaten left at this point with Onosato in a large group at 4-1, which also includes Kotozakura hopefully back in form. And at the bottom, congrats to Hitoshi for, amidst rumors he is being hindered by a knee/foot injury, getting his first career top tier win. Another role reversal for the Yokozuna tomorrow as Onosato faces Atamifuji and Hoshoryu gets Oho.
Ozeki Watch: Wakatakakage is now 3-2 after today’s win so the unofficial magic number is now 8. A badly struggling Gonoyama, who is 0-5, is tomorrow’s opponent.

Juryo:
Asanoyama (J13) beat Shiden (J14)
Asasuiryu (J12) beat Kyokukaiyu (J13)
Takarafuji (J12) beat Asahakuryu (J13)
Kazekeno (J11) beat Nishinoryu (J14)
Hakuyozan (J10) beat Tsurugisho (J9)
Shirokuma (J9) beat Miyanokaze (J10)
Harsuyama (J8) beat Hidenoumi (J7)
Kotokuzan (J8) beat Tamashoho (J7)
Fujiseiun (J5) beat Kayo (J6)
Tochitaikai (J5) beat Tohakuryu (J6)
Mita (J4) beat Kotoeiho (J2)
Oshoumi (J1) beat Chiyoshoma (J2)
Daiseizan (J1) beat Kagayaki (J4)
Leader: Mita, Kotokuzan (5-0)
Of note: Asanoyama is now 4-1 at this point, so even with a 14-1 finish he probably won’t get back to the top tier in November but can set himself up for a good chance at a January return. If he wins the championship with that record maybe he will get promoted. Stablemate Asahakuryu took his first loss today to fall one off the pace at a still-solid 4-1 so far in his Juryo debut.

Lower tier notes: Enho lost his match today to fall to 2-1 and out of Makishita title contention, meaning no chance of promotion back to Juryo in November. He can still get up in January if he can finish 6-1 or 5-2 and move up the rankings enough. Among the Makushita co-leaders at 3-0 is Kitanowaka at Ms1, meaning one more win this tournament will see him promoted back to Juryo for the first time since March, although he was absent then due an injury that forced a January withdrawal and demotion from the top tier in his 4th attempt.

The next event is tomorrow at Kitami sports Center. There will be no live or on demand broadcast.

BREAKING: TJPW WP6 Last-Minute Changes

In an emergency Space live broadcast on Twitter earlier today, Tokyo Joshi Pro announced several last-minute changes to WRESTLE PRINCESS 6 on Saturday:

Injury Report-this is the main reason why changes had to be made to the card-Jada Stone is now off. Knee. Unable to travel to Japan as a result (doctor’s orders). She was to have faced Arisu Endo for the vacant International Princess Championship. Priscilla Kelly is the replacement…but more changes because she originally was to have faced Rika Tatsumi. Pom Harajuku is the replacement and there will be special rules which are TBA. Harajuku was to have been in a 9-person battle royal for the DDT Iron Man Heavymetalweight Championship currently held by Pocotan. That is now an 8-person battle royal. Hopefully no more changes needed but the battle royal comes with the standard “always subject to change” label due to the Iron Man Title 24/7 rules.

Hakuoho (M2) beat Onosato (Y). KINBOSHI!!! The 2nd career Gold Star Victory for Hakuoho!
Hoshoryu (Y) beat Abi (M1)
Leader: Hoshoryu, Kirishima (4-0)
Of note: Hakuoho may be the “O no” for Onosato…both his Kinboshi have come from Onosato, first in July and now today. It could get worse-tomorrow is Oho who has taken 2 Kinboshi from Onosato in the laat 3 tournaments (Onosato does have one win in that stretch). No worries for Hoshoryu so far as he’s off to a 4-0 start along with Kirishima, who could get some Ozeki re-promotion thoughts if he can win his second championship. Hoshoryu has Atamifuji tomorrow, who did beat the Yokozuna in January before promotion but it 1-3 so far.
Ozeki Watch: Wakatakakage is now 2-2 having alternated wins & losses so far and the unofficial magic number is now 9.

Juryo:
Shiden (J14) beat Kyokukaiyu (J13)
Nishinoryu (J14) beat Asasuiryu (J12)

Kirishima (S) beat Atamifuji (M3)
Tamawashi (M1) beat Wakatakakage (S)
Aonishiki (K) beat Kotozakura (O)
Hoshoryu (Y) beat Hakuoho (M2)
Onosato (Y) beat Abi (M1)
Of note: There are now 5 leading at 3-0 which include both Yokozuna off to perfect starts with no kinboshi conceded yet. Kirishima, Ura & Ryuden are also in that group. Also huge props to Mitakeumi, fighting with the heaviest heart, getting that first win today to honor his mother who suddenly died last week. Hopefully several more to follow. Tomorrow it’s role reversals for the Yokozuna as Onosato faces Hakuoho and Hoshoryu gets Abi. Elsewhere, today marked career win 873 for Tamawashi, moving the Iron Man past Taiho into 9th all-time.
Ozeki Watch: Now it’s worry time for Wakatakakage, he can still get to 11 but now at 1-2 he can only afford 2 more losses.

Of note: 4 are tied for the lead at 3-0 including Mita going for consecutive championships. Asanoyama is at 2-1.

Lower tier note: Enho won his second match in Makushita today to go to 2-0. No match tomorrow.

All-Japan Pro Wrestling 9/15/25 LIVE Results

All-Japan wraps up the Royal Road Tournament today in Tokyo with the Semifinals & Finals as part of a morning matinee (it’s a holiday in Japan). The Final 4 are Kento Miyahara, Daisuke Sekimoto, Ren Ayabe and Ryuki Honda with the first 2 and the last 2 being the Semifinals and the winners moving on to the Finals. The winner likely will get the next shot at Triple Crown Champion Jun Saito.

The event will also feature a memorial ceremony for Taishin Nagao, the rookie who died earlier this month after a 3-plus month hospitalization following injuries suffered in an accident involving one of the promotion’s vehicles at the end of May. He would have turned 22 over the last few days and the wrestlers continue to post tributes & condolences on social media. The promotion announced a flower table for fans in attendance to leave flowers will be set up at all remaining events this year starting today.

Today’s event will be held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on AJPW.TV in Japanese. This will also be a live Samurai! TV broadcast in Japan. The event is a legit advance sellout. There are 7 matches scheduled with an intermission after the 4th match (after which the first team in this year’s World’s Strongest Tag League/Real World Tag League will be announced) and 3 matches have no time limit plus a title match opens the show, so I anticipate this will be a longer Korakuen event than usual with a running time of around 3 hours.

Today’s lineup:
All-Asia Tag Team Champions Yuma & Atsuki Aoyagi vs. MUSASHI & Seiki Yoshioka for the titles
Royal Road Semifinals:
Kento Miyagara vs. Daisuke Sekimoto
Ren Ayabe vs. Ryuki Honda
Davey Boy Smith Jr., Naruki Doi, Kuroshio TOKYO Japan & Seigo Tachibana vs. Hokuto Omori, Kumaarashi, Ryo Inoue & Shota Kofuji
Intermission
Hideki Suzuki, Kengo Mashimo & Hikaru Sato vs. Shotaro Ashino, Xyon & Odyssey
Jun Saito, Yuma Anzai & Rising Hayato vs. Suwama, Dan Tamura & Naoya Nomura
Royal Road Finals

Refresh this page occasionally for the latest results.

Updates below will begin at 7:30 PM PT/10:30 PM ET. The live stream is scheduled to begin 10 minutes before the event.

7:20 PM PT UPDATE: The live stream has begun. We should be going to the venue 1 minute before event time.

7:28 PM PT UPDATE: Live updates begin now.

We are LIVE from Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Commentary will join in a few minutes (audio is muted at the start).

The paid attendance will be announced after the event. It’s a legit advance sellout and the fans are still coming in, commentary may be taking a few rows away on one side of the bleacher seats but sellout should mean 1450-1500 with the setup. (UPDATE: The announced paid attendance, a legit advance sellout, was 1469)

Audio un-muted. The event begins with the roster coming out for a memorial ceremony for Taishin Nagao. It appears his body may have been cremated as Hideki Suzuki is holding what could be a box with his ashes in the ring alongside Kento Miyahara holding a framed picture of Nagao. A 10 bell salute is held after the announcer’s narrative. The final ceremonial introductory announcement, often done upon a wrestler’s retirement, concludes the ceremony. Commentary joins at the end of the ceremony.

The matches will begin shortly.

The matches begin at 7:41 PM PT/10:41 PM ET. Rei Saito is a guest om commentary alongside Kagehiro Osano, I didn’t catch the host’s name.

Match 1: All-Asia Tag Team Champions Yuma & Atsuki Aoyagi vs. MUSASHI & Seiki Yoshioka for the titles. 1 Hour time limit
Result: MUSASHI & Seiki Yoshioka beat All-Asia Tag Team Champions Yuma & Atsuki Aoyagi to win the titles. MUSASHI & Yoshioka become the 127th All-Asia Tag Team Champions. MUSASHI pinned Atsuki Aoyagi after Niten First Class.

Match 2: Royal Road Semifinals: Kento Miyahara vs. Daisuke Sekimoto. No time limit
Result: Kento Miyaraha beat Daisuke Sekimoto. As a result, Miyahara advances to the Finals.

Match 3: Royal Road Semifinals: Ren Ayabe vs. Ryuki Honda. No time limit
Result: Ryuki Honda beat Ren Ayabe. As a result, Honda advances to the Finals.

This means the main event will be Miyahara vs. Honda.

Match 4: Davey Boy Smith Jr., Naruki Doi (Independent/Freelancer), Kuroshio TOKYO Japan & Seigo Tachibana vs. Hokuto Omori, Kumaarashi, Ryo Inoue & Shota Kofuji. 30 minute time limit
Result: Davey Boy Smith Jr., Naruki Doi, Kuroshio TOKYO Japan & Seigo Tachibana beat Hokuto Omori, Kumaarashi, Ryo Inoue & Shota Kofuji. Doi beat Kofuji with a Boston crab.

Intermission.

The first teams in this year’s World’s Strongest Tag League/Real World Tag League are announced: Hideki Suzuki & Kengo Mashimo, Xyon & Odyssey, Hokuto Omori & Kumaarashi, MUSASHI & Seiki Yoshioka, Kento Miyahara & Davey Boy Smith Jr., Ren Ayabe & Talos. I thought they would announce just one but they did half the teams. The remaining 6 teams entered will be announced on 10/22.

The matches resume at 9:03 PM PT/12:03 AM ET. Hokuto Omori is now the guest on commentary, replacing Rei Saito.

Match 5: Hideki Suzuki, Kengo Mashimo & Hikaru Sato vs. Shotaro Ashino, Xyon & Odyssey. 30 minute time limit
Result: Hideki Suzuki, Kengo Mashimo & Hikaru Sato beat Shotaro Ashino, Xyon & Odyssey. Suzuki pinned Xyon. The ending and post-match happenings left me thinking this could be Xyon’s last match in All-Japan, at least for a while.

Yuma Aoyagi is the guest on commentary for the next match.

Match 6: Jun Saito, Yuma Anzai & Rising Hayato vs. Suwama, Dan Tamura & Naoya Nomura. 30 minute time limit
Result: Jun Saito, Yuma Anzai & Rising Hayato beat Suwama, Dan Tamura & Naoya Nomura. Saito pinned Tamura after a jackhammer.

Main Event: Royal Road Finals: Kento Miyahara vs. Ryuki Honda. No time limit
Result: Kento Miyahara beat Ryuki Honda to win the tournament. As a result, Miyahara will likely get the next Triple Crown shot. As expected I guess, every 3-4 times or so it’s gotta be him.

The next event is 9/23 at Arena Tachikawa Tachihi. Live streaming on AJPW.TV will begin on 9/22 at 10 PM PT/1 AM ET.
