Stardom 12/29/2025 Results (Updated x3)

STARDOM DREAM QUEENDOM 2025, the promotion’s year-end blowout event, is now in the books.

Today’s event was held at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo and can be watched on demand as a PPV on Stardom World for 4400 Japanese yen (around $29 US). An “emergency addition” was made just before the broadcast-Hanan was added as a guest on commentary (she is currently injured). You can also watch the pre-show match and the first match FOR FREE on YouTube.

The paid attendance was not announced, but if not a legit sellout it was very close. (UPDATE: It was a legit sellout. The UNOFFICIAL reported paid attendance was 6563) (UPDATE 2: Tokyo Sports reports that same attendance number. While a legit sellout, that’s only about 43-44% capacity for the Kokugikan)

Pre-show match: Ema Maishima & Kikyo Furusawa beat Matoi Hamabe & Anne Kanaya. Marshima pinned Kanaya.

Match 1: Starlight Kid & AZM beat Syuri & Tomoka Inaba. Kid pinned Inaba after a moonsault press.

Match 2: Rina won a 21 woman battle royal, last eliminating Miyu Amasaki. A huge surprise at entrant 21-the original Stardom OG who the promotion was originally built around…my eternal Japanese wrestling crush returned for one day-Yuzuki Aikawa! (A former pinup/gravure idol who was one of the highest acclaimed models ever, probably in part for her nice and very big bouncy-bouncys-who became a pro wrestler when Stardom was formed, after a couple years as the inaugural Wonder Of Stardom Champion she retired and became an actress/entertainer). Not receiving nice birthday present here was the eliminated Hina, who celebrated her 19th birthday today.

Match 3: Maika, Megan Bayne, Xena & HANAKO vs. Suzu Suzuki, Bozilla, Rina Yamashita & Itsuki Aoki went to a double countout.

Match 4: Fuwa-chan Re-Debut Match: Hazuki beat Fuwa-chan.

Match 5: Sareee beat Natsupoi.

Match 6: Goddesses Of Stardom Champions Natsuko Tora & Ruaka beat Aya Sakura & Sayaka Kurara to retain the titles. Ruaka pinned Sakura with a Dhaka German suplex hold. V3 for the champs.

Match 7: Wonder Of Stardom Champion Konami beat Saya Iida to retain the title. V1 for Konami.

Main Event: World Of Stardom Champion Saya Kamitani beat Saori Anou to retian the title. V8 for Kamitani. Exactly one year in and her reign rightfully continues. A year that saw her crown the undisputed best Japanese women’s wrestler in Japan and the first woman to win the Tokyo Sports MVP ends how it began-on top. And next up is the biggest spotlight of all-Tokyo Dome for a double title showdown with Syuri (for the IWGP Women’s and STRONG Women’s Championships). Long May Our PHENEX QUEEN Reign. Embrace The H.A.T.E. In 2026. Needless to say this result made me very happy.

The first event of 2026 is 1/10 at Korakuen Hall for a doubleheader to begin the promotion’s 15th Anniversary celebration. Broadcast plans TBA.

UPDATE: Tokyo Sports reports Aikawa will also be back for the 1/21 15th Anniversary event. Not too shabby for a nearly 5 year absence and now being a mother of two. Showing those Bellas how it’s done! Yes I’m kinda excited about this, she still can Yuzupon Kick pretty good too! 1/21 will probably be a tag match, possibly with Yuria Hime as a partner or opponent.

UPDATE 2: The next challengers for Kamitani & Konami appear set…Kid & Rina, respectively. When is TBA. Also, for the curious, Kamitani still has a ways to go to be the record-setting Red Belt Champion. The longest reign to date is about 18 months while the successful defense record is 14.

UPDATE 3: Aikawa’s return is for a limited time and the Hime match likely will be a single match.

DDT Pro Wrestling 12/29/2025 LIVE Results

DDT hosts a Super Japan Pro Wrestling event today, the latest Sanshiro Takagi Produced project event featuring only non-DDT affiliated wrestlers outside of Takagi himself. And that of course means the fellow oldest member at 57 years old, New Japan wrestler Yuji Nagata, participation as well as some familiar other veterans (Taiji Ishimori will also participate from New Japan)and also a women’s match, and surely plenty of comedy to go along with it and wrap up 2025 on a lighter note.

Today’s event will be held at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE. There will be no commentary. There are 6 matches scheduled with no intermissions so the longest the event could run is about 3 hours, but it probably will be closer to 2 hours. Although the main event does have an always-long & unpredictable Kuroshio TOKYO Japan entrance, so who knows.

Today’s lineup:
Ryoma Tsukamoto vs. Shota
DJ Nira vs. Muscle Sakai (Super Sasadango Machine)
Mio Shirai vs. Marika Kobashi
MIKAMI & TakashI Sasaki vs. “Shows” & “Reiwa” 2
Brahmans Shu & Kei & Taiji Ishimori vs. Shuji Kondo, Ken Ohka & Mac Matsushita
Sanshiro Takagi, Jun Kasai & Munenori Sawa vs. Yuji Nagata, Kuroshio TOKYO Japan & Fuminori Abe

6:45 PM PT UPDATE: The live stream has begun. We should be going to the venue in 10-15 minutes.

7 PM PT UPDATE: Live updates begin now.

We are LIVE from Shinjuku Face in Tokyo, Japan. There is no commentary.

The paid attendance will not be announced after the event. Based on advance ticket sales, it could be a legit sellout with only a few same-day tickets left. If not it will be very close. So it’s safe to say full capacity and they’ll proabbly do 475-500.

Sanshiro Takagi comes out to open the event. Quick greeting and start shout.

The matches begin at 7:05 PM PT/10:05 PM ET.

Match 1: Ryoma Tsukamoto vs. Shota. 30 minute time limit
Result: Shota beat Ryoma Tsukamoto

Match 2: DJ Nira (maybe the only wrestler without entrance music) vs. Muscle Sakai. 30 minute time limit
Result: Unclear. Comedy match where they kept turning the lights on & off and inconclusive ending. Maybe Nira was declared winner as there was no music.

Match 3: Mio Shirai vs. Marika Kobashi. 30 minute time limit
Result: Mio Shirai beat Marika Kobashi

Match 4: MIKAMI & TakashI Sasaki vs. “Showa” 2 & “Reiwa” 2. 30 minute time limit
Result: MIKAMI & Takashi Sasaki beat Showa 2 & Reiwa 2. MIKAMI pinned Showa (I think).

Match 5: Brahmans Shu & Kei & Taiji Ishimori (New Japan) vs. Shuji Kondo, Ken Ohka & Mac Matsushita. 30 minute time limit
Result: Brahmans Shu & Kei & TaijI Ishimori beat Shuji Kondo, Ken Ohka & Mac Matsushita. Ishimori beat Matsushita with Bone Lock.

Break for ring cleaning (there was no intermission scheduled but it looks like we’re having one now before the last match).

We return after about a 12 minute break.

Main Event: Sanshiro Takagi, Jun Kasai & Munenori Sawa vs. Yuji Nagata (Nre Japan), Kuroshio TOKYO Japan & Fuminori Abe. 30 minute time limit
Result: Yuji Nagata, Kuroshio TOKYO Japan & Fuminori Abe beat Sanshiro Takagi, Jun Kasai & Munenori Sawa. Nagata beat Takagi with Nagata Lock 2.

This event was basically the comedy portion of DDT with just a little actual wrestling thrown in. If you like the wacky humor this is your kind of event.

There probably will be more such events in 2026, just not sure when yet.

The next event, the first of 2026, is Saturday at Korakuen Hall. The event is a legit advance sellout. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin at 1:30 AM PT/4:30 AM ET.

DDT 12/27/2025 & 12/28/2025 Results

Match 4: HARASHIMA beat Takao Soma. This was Soma’s last match before an extended absence for treatment of a knee injury he’s worked through. Post-match, Soma vowed to return some time next year. HARASHIMA provided some optimism with his signature catch phrase these days-Because It’s Training/Practicing!

Match 5: MAO & KANON beat Yuki Ueno & Danshoku Dieno. KANON pinned Dieno after a lariat.

Main Event: Daisuke Sasaki, Hideki Okatani, MJ Paul, Demus & Illusion beat KO-D 10-Man Tag Team Champions To-y, Yuya Koroku, Daichi Sato, Yuki Ishida & Kazuma Sumi to win the titles. Sasaki, Okatani, Paul, Demus & Illusion become the 11th KO-D 10-Man Tag Team Champions. Illusion pinned Sumi after a swanton bomb.

The event ended with a Dieno & Ueno mini-talk show event instead of an ending announcement. They were perhaps hoping to go for a KO-D Tag Team Championship shot, but not so much after today.

Sumo-Stable Punished For Disciplinary Issues

In news widely reported by various sources including Nikkan Sports, Hochi Sports and in English by YouTube channel Chris Sumo, the Japan Sumo Association has handed down various punishments to Kise Beya over disciplinary issues, or apparent lack thereof, stemming from incidents of violence between two unnamed wrestlers over apparent theft.

First, the current Kise stablemaster has been DEMOTED to the lowest level of elders/stablemasters, essentially a 2 step demotion that pretty muich ends any hopes he had of an executive position in upcoming elections. Second, one of the two so-far unnamed wrestlers, who retaliated against the second unnamed wrestler who stole money from his wallet, was given a 2 TOURNAMENT SUSPENSION for retaliatory violence (punching the other repeatedly in the head) but has instead opted to retire. The Association tends to reveal retired wrestlers later on their website and mobile app, if they do we may find out who it is/was but all we know now is it was a lower tier wrestler and not Makuuchi or Juryo (meaning not one of their well-known top guys like Ura or Kinbozan). The thief & violence victim gets NO PUNISHMENT. Chris Sumo suggested perhaps he could have gotten, at worst, a 5 match suspension which for a lower tier wrestler would have meant most of the January Tournament.

In response, Kise Beya has posted a short video on their YouTube channel, the description of which translates loosely as an apology and vow to do better as well as asking for fans to be respectful in the comments on YouTube & Instagram (an presumably LINE, the Japanese messaging service that almost everyone in Japan uses). Unfortunately this is apparently not uncommon despite all we see on YouTube (especially as more stables join, Otake & Misashigawa Beya are among those who recently started channels and Tatsunami Beya recently received a Silver Play Button for over 100K subscribers) so we’ll see what happens going forward. We’ll also see if they do reveal who retired as a result.

Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling 12/27/2025 LIVE Results (Updated)

Tokyo Joshi Pro wraps up their 2025 today with their final event of the year, “TJPW Year-End Party 2025”. It’s mostly a light house show with the main event being the focus-a 19-woman battle royal that will feature pretty much everyone not in one of the 4 other matches. But 2 of the participants are listed as TBA so there is room for some surprises…I sense one of them will be “It’s a f*cking house party!” but we shall see.

There has been late changes to the planned card due to Ren Konatsu being removed from the event. Apparent illness. She was to have faced Suzume. Uta Takami is the replacement, being removed from the battle royal which was planned to be 20 women but is now only 19 with no replacement.

Today’s event will be held at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE. There will be no commentary. There are only 5 matches scheduled in part due to the battle royal so even with that main event it’ll be on the shorter side for house shows, with a running time of probably around 90 minutes.

Today’s lineup:
Suzume vs. Uta Takami
Wakana Uehara vs. Haru Kazashiro
Yuki Aino vs. Chika Nanase
Rika Tatsumi & Toga vs. Kakeru Sekiguchi & Mahiro Kiryu
19 woman battle royal. Participants: Miu Watanabe, Yuki Kamifuku, Arisu Endo, Shoko Nakajima, Miyu Yamashita, Kaya Toribami, Mizuki, Yuki Arai, Hyper Misao, Raku, Pom Harajuku, HIMAWARI, Shino Suzuki, Mifu Ashida, Kira Summer, Max The Impaler, Ram Kaichow, 2 TBAs

Refresh this page occasionally for the latest results.

Updates below will begin at 6 PM PT/9 PM ET. The live stream is scheduled to begin 15 minutes before the event.

5:45 PM PT UPDATE: The live stream has begun. We should be going to the venue in 10-15 minutes.

6 PM PT UPDATE: Live updates begin now.

We are LIVE from Shinjuku Face in Tokyo, Japan. There is no commentary.

The paid attendance will be announced after the event. The venue looks close to full and advance ticket sales were good, it sounds like they’re using the reduced capacity setup (the venue’s full capacity is 500) so I’m guessing the crowd will be around 300. (UPDATE: The announced paid attendance was 429, a super full house/very near sellout. So it was a close to full capacity setup)

The matches should begin in 10-15 minutes. During opening announcements, 4 more teams for the Max Heart Tournament were announced: Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao, HIMAWARI & Shino Suzuki, Miyu Yamashita & Kaya Toribami, Yuki Arai & Mifu Ashida.

The matches begin at 6:15 PM PT/9:15 PM ET. Slight order change from what was listed before the event and above (shuffled the first 3 matches).

Match 1: Yuki Aino vs. Chika Nanase. 15 minute time limit
Result: Yuki Aino beat Chika Nanase by submission

Match 2: Suzume vs. Uta Takami. 15 minute time limit
Result: Suzume beat Uta Takami

Match 3: Wakana Uehara vs. Haru Kazashiro. 15 minute time limit
Result: Haru Kazashiro beat Wakana Uehara. Big upset ahead of 1/4! (Kazzashiro & Aino face Uehara & Yuki Kamifuku for the Princess Tag Team Championship that day)

Match 4: Rika Tatsumi & Toga vs. Kakeru Sekiguchi (Independent/Freelancer) & Mahiro Kiryu. 20 minute time limit. And since Kiryu is still the current DDT Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion, if she gets pinned or submitted she loses the title
Result: Rika Tatsumi & Toga beat Kakeru Sekiguchi & DDT Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion Mahiro Kiryu, with Tatsumi beating Kiryu to win the title. Tatsumi becomes the 1791st Champion.

Main Event: 19 woman battle royal. Staggered entry. Eliminations by pinfall, submission, over top rope, etc. Order of entry: HIMAWARI, Kaya Toribami, Mizuki, Ram Kaichow (666), Shoko Nakajima, Pom Harajuku, TBA 1 which was Kuishinbo Kamen (Osaka Pro), Hyper Misao (with microphone of course), TBA 2 which was…I had a feeling it was gonna be a f&ckin house party because it’s Ryo Mizunami (Independent/Freelancer), Kira Summer, Raku, Miyu Yamashita, Yuki Kamifuku, Miu Watanabe, Yuki Arai, Arisu Endo, Max The Impaler, Shino Suzuki, Mifu Ashida
Order of elimination: HIMAWARI by Harjauku (pindall), Toribami by everyone (pinfall), Kamen by Misao, Misao & Nakajima by Summer (over top rope), Kaichow by Mizunami & Raku (pinfall), Yamashita by Mizuki (over top rope), Kamifuku & Mizunami by everyone (over top rope), Summer by Max (pinfall), Harjauku by Max (over top rope…NOOOOOOOO! MAX NOT SUPPOSED TO ELIMINATE POM!!!), Suzuki by Max (over top rope), Arai by Watanabe (over top rope), Max by Watanabe (over top rope), Watanabe by everyone (pinfall), Endo by Mizuki (over top rope), Raku by Mizuki & Ashida (pinfall), Ashida by Mizuki (pinfall)
Result: Mizuki wins. Because of course Mizuki doesn’t like to lose

UPDATE: BREAKING post-event backstage development!
Kakeru Sekiguchi beat DDT Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion Rika Tatsumi & Mahiro Kiryu in a 3-way game of Old Maid to win the title. Sekiguchi becomes the 1792nd Champion.

And just moments before this update…
Mahiro Kiryu beat DDT Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion Kakeru Sekiguchi to win the title. Kiryu becomes the 1793rd Champion. After Sekiguchi slipped on a banana peel. Classic…but For The Love Of God, stop putting the title on Kiryu!
