Injury Report: Ganbare Flagbearer Goes Down

Ganbare Pro has announced an injury update that unfortunately has wide-reaching implications-their women’s flagbearer, Yuna Manase, went down in practice yesterday with an injury seemingly worse than feared. Broken collarbone. It was originally thought she had a shoulder injury. Based on Ganbare’s announcement she will be out at least several weeks including Sunday. The previously announced cards were already updated but I believe she was to have been in a 6-person tag match. Chanyota is the replacement. On 3/1 she was to have teamed with Keisuke Ishii & Tyson Maeguchi to face YuuRI, Shuichiro Katsumura & Tsuyoshi Okada. No replacement named yet.

It’s not yet known how long Manase will be out. Updates on other participation changes-namely GLEAT-hopefully will come soon.

More as it becomes available.

Tokyo Joshi Pro 2/21/2026 Results (Updated x2)

Tokyo Joshi Pro is in Kobe today for what is being billed as possibly their last show at today’s venue (only the venue, which reportedly may be either shutting down or not holding wrestling events anymore).

Today’s event will be held at Kobe Art Center in Kobe and will be available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE Tuesday. There will be no live broadcast, however there are TENTATIVE plans to stream the main event and perhaps other matches using the UNIVERSE CAST feature that is part of WRESTLE UNIVERSE. That will be a last-minute decision so this is a tentative placeholder if that happens. If not, full results will be posted when they become available.

The event is scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM PT/10:30 PM ET so hopefully we’ll know plans by then. The main event likely will be Miu Watanabe & Shino Suzuki vs. Mizuki & Uta Takami as this seems to be a Mizuki-centric event. Miyu Yamashita & Kaya Toribami are off this event due to an excursion to Thailand. They will also miss Sunday’s event as a result.

UPDATE (Pre-show): There are now last-second changes to the card due to Yuki Kamifuku being pulled off the event. The always-vague poor health. Also out Sunday. She was to have teamed with Wakana Uehara to face Yuki Aino & Kira Summer. It’s now Uehara-Summer and what was Rika Tatsumi vs. Pom Harajuku & Mahiro Kiryu in a 3-way is now Tatsumi & Kiryu vs. Aino & Harajuku. For Sunday she was to have faced Shion Kanzaki. Changes TBA.

7:30 PM PT UPDATE: Waiting for streaming updates from TJPW.

It appears they didn’t do Universe Cast so we’ll have to wait for Tuesday for video. Here are the results:

Match 1: Haru Kazashiro beat Shion Kanzaki.

Match 2: Wakana Uehara beat Kira Summer.

TJPW News: Next Tag Challengers Announced

If you watched Tokyo Joshi Pro’s live event last weekend maybe you were thinking they would drop hints as to who would face Princess Tag Team Champions Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara at GRAND PRINCESS ‘26 on 3/29, namely Miyu Yamashita & Kaya Toribami. Well we now know and…my thinking was wrong. The challengers will be Cassie Lee & Jessie McKay, fka The Iinspiration in TNA and indies and The Iiconics in WWE which is where I first saw (and liked) McKay as Billie Kay (Lee was fka Peyton Royce). Lee took time off the last couple years to have a baby and recently they have been back in action in the US and they will mow face Ober Eats for the titles in a big surprise.

Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling 2/15/2026 LIVE Results

With the Max Heart Tournament now in the books for this year, Tokyo Joshi Pro runs a sort of fallout-themed event today in Tokyo which features a couple of matches we didn’t get in the tournament due to how it played out among others. There are 2 tag matches and 2 8-woman tag matches with the participants, which may or may not offer clues as to who Princess Tag Team Champions and tournament winners Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara may defend the titles against at GRAND PRINCESS ’26. If the matches today are any indication there won’t be much settled (although there are three teams we can rule out due to other title matches and thus two big name teams…but I have an idea who will be next though). At least it’s one more chance for Wasteland Pom Party before Max The Impaler returns to the US for now ahead of a starring role in a major movie coming in a couple weeks but they will be back for 3/29.
And for those wondering…no, Mahiro Kiryu did not find a way to win the DDT Iron Man Heavymetalweight Championship back from Aja Kong yesterday. She tried post-event though but failed.

Today’s event will be held at Club eX in Shinagawa Prince Hotel in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE. There will be no commentary. There are 6 matches today and with no title matches this will be on the short side for a house show with a running time of around 1 3/4 hours but no more than about 2 hours.

Today’s lineup (match order TBA):
Toga vs. Shion Kanzaki
Mahiro Kiryu vs. Sarah Phoenix
Yuki Kamifuku, Wakana Uehara, Miyu Yamashita & Kaya Toribami vs. Shoko Nakajima, Hyper Misao, Raku & Ren Konatsu
Mizuki, Uta Takami, HIMAWARI & Shino Suzuki vs. Yuki Arai, Mifu Ashida, Kira Summer & Chika Nanase
Miu Watanabe & Rika Tatsumi vs. Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro
Max The Impaler & Pom Harajuku vs. Suzume & Arisu Endo

Refresh this page occasionally for the latest results.

Updates below will begin at 6:30 PM PT/9:30 PM ET. The live stream is scheduled to begin 10 minutes before the event.

6:20 PM PT UPDATE: The live stream has begun. We should be going to the venue in just under 10 minutes.

6:28 PM PT UPDATE: Live updates begin now.

We are LIVE from Club eX in Shinagawa Prince Hotel in Tokyo, Japan. There is no commentary.

The paid attendance will be announced after the event. Advance ticket sales seemed good so it may depend partly on same-day sales for the final number, but my initial guess will be 300. The setup is probably for around 350. (UPDATE: The announced paid attendance was 285, a full house/near sellout)

The matches should begin in 10-15 minutes.

The matches begin at 6:43 PM PT/9:43 PM ET.

Result: Toga beat Shion Kanzaki by submission

Match 2: Mahiro Kiryu vs. Sarah Phoenix. 15 minute time limit
Result: Sarah Phoenix beat Mahiro Kiryu

Match 3: Mizuki, Uta Takami, HIMAWARI & Shino Suzuki vs. Yuki Arai, Mifu Ashida, Kira Summer & Chika Nanase. 20 minute time limit
Result: Yuki Arai, Mifu Ashida, Kira Summer & Chika Nanase beat Mizuki, Uta Takami, HIMAWARI & Shino Suzuki. Arai pinned Suzuki.

Match 4: Miu Watanabe & Rika Tatsumi vs. Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro. 20 minute time limit
Result: Miu Watanabe & Rika Tatsumi beat Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro. Tatsumi beat Kazashiro with White Dragon Sleeper.

Result: Suzume & Arisu Endo beat Max The Impaler & Pom Harajuku. Suzume pinned Harajuku after Ring A Bell.

Main Event: Yuki Kamifuku, Wakana Uehara, Miyu Yamashita & Kaya Toribami vs. Shoko Nakajima, Hyper Misao, Raku & Ren Konatsu. 20 minute time limit
Result: Yuki Kamifuku, Wakana Uehara, Miyu Yamashita & Kaya Toribami beat Shoko Nakajima, Hyper Misao, Raku & Ren Konatsu. Kamifuku beat Konatsu. Afterwards, no real clue about the next challengers for the Princess Tag Team Champions unless it’s Yamashita & Toribami. But I didn’t get those vibes yet.

The next event is 2/21 at Kobe Art Center in Kobe for what could be the promotion’s final event in the venue. There will be no live broadcast. On demand on 2/24.
