Dragon Gate’s second Dragon Gate USA revival event, THE GATE OF REVOLUTION 2025, is today as part of The Collective, and promises to be even bigger than the first event was earlier this week. 8 matches are currently scheduled with possibly now an Open The Dream Gate Championshi pmatch as, following events at the end of Wednesday’s event, YAMATO may now be defending the title against Rich Swann. 8 PM PT UPDATE: Live updates begin now.

Mandatory FBI Warning then…

Waiting to go to the venue. At 8:03 PM PT…

We are LIVE from Meet Las Vegas in Las Vegas, NV. There is no commentary. Also this appears to be an event co-produced with/promoted by Pro Wrestling Revolution.

The paid attendance may or may not be announced later. This is a small venue with a very small-looking setup. The setup looks to be for 250-300 but barely looks 1/3 full. They may be lucky to get 100. (Late-arriving crowd so revising my estimate to 150-200)

Match 1: Diablo Azteca vs. Rhys Maddox & Kid Lynx in a 3-way
Result: Diablo Azteca beat Rhys Maddox & Kid Lynx in a 3-way by pinning Maddox.

It sounds like the first match was a pre-show match as the ring announcer says the next match is the first official match. We also now have commentary. Your hosts are Rich Bocchini & Joe Dombrowski (who is also the ring announcer).

Match 2: Rey Horus & Vary Morales vs. Colt Stevens & Dave Dutra
Result: Colt Stevens & Dave Dutra beat Rey Horus & Vary Morales. Dutra pinned Morales after Border Wall.

Match 3: Mike Sydal & Willie Mack vs. La Estrella & Viento and El Cucuy & Oni El Bendito in a 3-way

Result: Dragon Kid & Ultimo Dragon beat Susumu Yokosuka & Ho Ho Lun. Kid pinned Yokosuka after Ultra Huracanrana. Post-match Matt Sydal came out for a promo with the Dragons & Yokosuka. In English but hard to understand what he was saying due to audio levels.

Result: PWR Tag Team Champions Arkangel Divino & Ultimo Maldito beat Aero Panther & Fight Panther Jr. to retain the titles.

End Show.

In addition to their events in the US today and tomorrow, the Tokyo Joshi Pro wrestlers who remained in Japan will have an event today in Tokyo. New Japan Pro Wrestling 4/19/25 LIVE Results

New Japan runs a very rare morning matinee event today, which means a convenient Friday night live broadcast for us over in the US. The Road To WRESTLING DONTAKU Tour opener is on top, beginning the run to the traditional Golden Week blowout event in Fukuoka which is expanded to 2 days this year. It’s been a very difficult week for the promotion which is dealing with the impending departures of Jeff Cobb after today then Tetsuya Naito and BUSHI after DONTAKU. Cobb is rumored to be headed to WWE, Naito had been working without a contract and his departure seemed to be about money and usage, and BUSHI requested his release. Cobb’s leaving also means he & Callum Newman had to vacate the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championship which is not good news if you can’t stand Bishamon because they get a shot at the vecant titles against Newman & Great-O-Khan, but that’s for later. Cobb’s final NJPW match will be today against Hiroshi Tanahashi.

There have also been last-minute changes to the card today because it was announced Hiroyoshi Tenzan is now off. The always vague poor health. HE was to have teamed with Satoshi Kojima, Yuji Nagata & Tiger Mask to face Yogi Makabe, Tomoaki Honma, Katsuya Murashima & Daiki Nagai. Masatora Yasuda, the Young Lion who has been out the last few months due to injury, is the replacement and will make his return today.

Today’s event will be held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on New Japan World in Japanese and English. There are only 6 matches scheduled but the main event is a no time limit elimination match so I’m guessing the total running time will be around a “Standard” Korakuen non-major event time of 2 1/2 hours.

Today’s lineup:
Masatora Yasuda, Tiger Mask, Satoshi Kojima & Yuji Nagata vs. Togi Makabe, Tomoaki Honma, Katsuya Murashima & Daiki Nagai
Master Wato, Boltin Oleg, Yoh & Toru Yano vs. Kosei Fujita, Robbie Eagles, Hartley Jackson (Independent/Freelancer) & Ryohei Oiwa
Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Jeff Cobb
Gedo, Taiji Ishimori & Drilla Moloney vs. Sho, Ren Narita & SANADA
Ryusuke Taguchi, El Desperado & Hirooki Goto vs. Jacob Austin Young, Templario & Callum Newman
TAKA Michinoku, YOSHI-HASHI, Taichi, Shota Umino & Yuya Uemura vs. BUSHI, Hiromu Takahashi, Tetsuya Naito, Shingo Takagi & Yota Tsuji in an elimination match (eliminations by pinfall, submission, countout, DQ, over the top rope)

Refresh this page occasionally for the latest results.

Updates below will begin at 7:30 PM PT/10:30 PM ET.

7:25 PM PT UPDATE: Live updates begin now.

We are LIVE from Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Your hosts are Haruo Murata & Milano Collection A.T. Great-O-Khan is the guest on Japanese commentary.

The paid attendance will be announced after the event. It looks close to a sellout which would mean around 1500 if legit. Only see a couple of empty seats here & there at the start. (UPDATE: The announced paid attendance was 1505, a legit sellout)

The matches begin right away.

Match 1: Masatora Yasuda, Tiger Mask, Satoshi Kojima & Yuji Nagata vs. Togi Makabe, Tomoaki Honma, Katsuya Murashima & Daiki Nagai. 20 minute time limit

Result: Hiroshi Tanahashi beat Jeff Cobb. Afterwards, United Empire joins Cobb in the ring as he says goodbye to New Japan.

Result: Sho, Ren Narita & SANADA beat Gedo, Taiji Ishimori & Drilla Moloney. Narita pinned Gedo.

Match 5: Ryusuke Taguchi, El Desperado & Hirooki Goto vs. Jacob Austin Young, Templario & Callum Newman. 30 minute time limit
Result: Ryusuke Taguchi, El Desperado & Hirooki Goto beat Jacob Austin Young, Templario & Callum Newman. Taguchi pinned Young.

Main Event: TAKA Michinoku, YOSHI-HASHI, Taichi, Shota Umino & Yuya Uemura vs. BUSHI, Hiromu Takahashi, Tetsuya Naito, Shingo Takagi & Yota Tsuji in an elimination match (eliminations by pinfall, submission, countout, DQ, over the top rope). No time limit
Result: BUSHI, Hiromu Takahashi, Tetsuya Naito, Shingo Takagi & Yota Tsuji beat TAKA Michinoku, YOSHI-HASHI, Taichi, Shota Umino & Yuya Uemura. Naito was the only winner left, last eliminating Taichi. Afterwards, one final LIJ promo all together to end the event as the end is very near for Naito & BUSHI as they will be leaving New Japan after WRESTLING DONTAKU.

The next event is Monday at Osaka Prefectural Gym 2 in Osaka. There will be no live or on demand broadcast. There likely will be no more broadcasts the rest of the tour, the upcoming standalone events in Hiroshima & Saga before heading to Fukuoka will be live & on demand.

3 PM PT UPDATE: Live updates begin now.

We are LIVE from The Pearl Theater at The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, NV. Your hosts are Dave Prazak, Nick Knowledge & Jordan Castle.

Since this is how DDT does it now, the paid attendance will not be announced after the event.

The matches start right away after the GCW ring announcer’s welcome.

Result: Daisuke Sasaki & Illusion beat Shota & Mizuki Watase and Dan The Dad & Kody Lane in a 3-way when Sasaki beat Dad.

Main Event: Konosuke Takeshita vs. MAO
Result: Konosuke Takeshita beat MAO

Overall this was another fun event that again nicely showcased both DDT’s signature product and the indies quite well. My one complaint was that the audio on the feed was notably ahead of the video and it was evident when pinfalls were being counted. May have just been my Bluetooth headphones but it was notable. Also, at the end the feed cut out immediately so no post-match promo from Takeshita, just for the live crowds.

End Show.

The next event is a joint event with Tokyo Joshi Pro & Game Changer Wrestling tomorrow. Live streaming on TrillerTV/FITE with a Triller+ subscription will begin at 2 PM PT/5 PM ET.

Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling “TJPW LIVE In Las Vegas” LIVE Results (4/18/25) (Updated)

Tokyo Joshi Pro makes their first 2025 trip to the US today as part of The Collective, which sees them take part in 2 WrestleMania week events in addition to some wrestlers participating in other events. This first event is their spotlight event with a number of wrestlers making their US debuts, including the returning Yuki Arai as she begins her full-time pro wrestling career (and model too as her first sexy photobook, announced almost as soon as she left SKE48 at the end of March, took no time at all to reach #1 in the bestseller list for pre-orders in Japan). The card was already big with 3 major title matches but the other day it got bigger with a 4th title match announced-a previously announced match between Miu Watanabe & Masha Slamovich will now be for the TNA Knockouts World Championship held by Slamovich. The other title matches are for TJPW’s 3 major titles headlined by Miyu Yamashita hopefully ending Mizuki’s second reign as Princess of Princess Champion today.

Today’s event will be held at The Pearl Theater at The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, NV and can be watched LIVE on TrillerTV/FITE with a Triller+ subscription ($7.99/month or $71.99/year, new subscribers get a 1 week free trial) in English. It will be available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE at a later date, probably in 2-3 months. Since it’s not Japan there will likely be no time limits for the matches but there are other events right after this event including a DDT event so it can’t run too long and probably will go no more than 2 1/2 hours.

Today’s lineup (match order TBA):
Yuki Arai vs. Arisu Endo
Rika Tatsumi, Shino Suzuki & VertVixen vs. Yuki Aino, Raku & Viva Van (Updated-see below)
Maki Itoh & Zara Zakher vs. Max The Impaler & Pom Harajuku (Updated-see below)
TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich vs. Miu Watanbe for the title
International Princess Champion Suzume vs. Jada Stone for the title
Princess Tag Team Champions Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao vs. Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara for the titles
Princess Of Princess Champion Mizuki vs. Miyu Yamashita for the title

Refresh this page occasionally for the latest results.

Updates below will begin at 11 AM PT/2 PM ET.

UPDATE (Pre-show): There has been a last minute change to the event because unfortunately for us who were looking forward to Wasteland Pom Party, the party is cancelled…Pom Harajuku is now off. Visa issues. They tried to get it resolved but were unsuccessful. Raku will now team with Max The Impaler and Ram Kaichow will replace Raku in the 6-woman tag.

11 AM PT UPDATE: Live updates begin now.

Mandatory FBI Warning, 10 second start countdown, Mandatory Copyright Notice and then…

We are LIVE from The Pearl Theater at The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, NV. Your hosts are Dave Prazak & Nick Knowledge. The ring announcer is the GCW regular announcer (no Sayuri Namba).

The paid attendance should be announced after the event. Despite it being a Friday morning it sounds like a good crowd, I’m not sure what the venue setup is for but it looks like it’ll probably be in the 600-700 range. (UPDATE: The announced paid attendance was 812)

Up Up Girls come out right away for their usual opening song performance. Just 3 today because no Uta Takami (didn’t come to the US). Commentary joins after the performance ends.

The matches begin at 11:08 AM PT/2:08 PM ET.

Match 1: Yuki Arai vs. Arisu Endo. And Arai gets STREAMERS!!! And Endo gets STREAMERS!!! That’s how it should be (Japan’s really cut down on it since the pandemic)
Result: Yuki Arai beat Arisu Endo. That makes me very happy, and even better she’s been added to tomorrow’s event so we get another chance to see her in the US!

Match 2: Rika Tatsumi, Shino Suzuki & VertVixen vs. Yuki Aino, Ram Kaichow & Viva Van. The graphics incorrectly said Raku but commentary then mentioned the absent Pom Harajuku which forced the changes
Result: Yuki Aino, Ram Kaichow & Viva Van beat Rika Tatsumi, Shino Suzuki & VertVixen. Aino pinned Suzuki after Venus DDT.

Match 3: Maki Itoh & Zara Zakher vs. Max The Impaler & Raku

Match 5: Princess Tag Team Champions Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao vs. Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara for the titles
Result: Princess Tag Team Champions Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao beat Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara to retain the titles. Nakajika pinned Uehara after a diving senton. V1 for the champs.

Match 6: TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich vs. Miu Watanbe for the title
Result: TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich beat Miu Watanabe to retain the title.

Main Event: Princess Of Princess Champion Mizuki vs. Miyu Yamashita for the title
Result: Princess Of Princess Champion Mizuki beat Miyu Yamashita to retain the title. V2 for Mizuki. UNHAPPY UNHAPPT. And a rough couple days for Yamashita, this coming less than 24 hours after a tough loss to Natalya at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport last night where she got an extra post-fight beatdown after Stone Cold Saluting Natalya. DAMN! They really went at it to build it up on social media and delivered. After commentary signed off, Mizuki promo post-match to end the event along with all the roster coming out. Followed very reluctantly by Max (no doubt disappointed because of no Pom)

Overall this was a fun event that felt like TJPW with a very supportive crowd and I loved how they gave everyone the streamers. The unexpected absence of Pom Harajuku was disappointing but they did everything they could to resolve the visa issues right up until the last second. This kind of stuff unfortunately is a regular occurrence for foreign wrestlers both ways, including those competing regularly in the US and US wrestlers competing abroad sometimes. They will be back in the US again this summer and deservedly so as they continue to grow and build their fanbase.

End Show.

The next event is tomorrow at Kanda Myojin Hall in Tokyo with those who did not participate in the US events. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin TONIGHT at 8:30 PM PT/11:30 PM ET. The second US event is DDT vs. TJPW vs. GCW tomorrow on Triller+ beginning at 2 PM PT/5 PM ET.

Dragon Gate Pro Wrestling “DRAGONGATE USA Presents THE REBIRTH” LIVE Results (4/16/25)

As the independent WrestleMania Week festival known as The Collective kicks off today, Dragon Gate is among the first from Japan to join the festivities with a revival of their former Dragon Gate USA sub-brand for the first of 2 events this week (the second vent is Friday). The event will feature a combination of wrestlers from Dragon Gate, US independents and The Collective host Game Changer Wrestling and even Stardom which will have a women’s match on the event. It’s the best week of the year for pro wrestling and it starts today!

Today’s event will be held at The Pearl Theater at The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, NV and can be watched LIVE on TrillerTV//FITE with a Triller+ subscription ($7.99/month or $71.99/year). Commentary is TBD but will almost certainly be in English. If you’re a new subscriber there is a 1 week free trial so you can watch this and all The Collective events FOR FREE! The subscription includes the live broadcast and unlimited on demand replays. Be careful when going online to watch as a time change for the event was announced yesterday-originally scheduled to begin at 8 PM PT it has now been pushed back to 9 PM PT-this is not shown correctly on Triller or Dragon Gate’s websites. When the event does start it has 6 matches so it will probably run around 2 hours.

Today’s lineup (match order TBA):
Ho Ho Lun vs. Rhys Maddox
Starlight Kid & AZM vs. Natsuko Tora & Konami
Ultimo Dragon, La Estrella & El Cucuy vs. Evan Rivers, Judas Icarus & Travis Williams
Kzy vs. Marcus Mathers
Ben-K & Hyo vs. Rich Swann & Willie Mack and Cole Radrick & Alex Prince in a 3-way
YAMATO, Dragon Kid & Susumu Yokosuka vs. Shun Skywalker, Kota Minoura & ISHIN

Updates below will begin at 9 PM PT/midnight ET.

Pre-show Update: Just before 10 AM PT it was announced that current Dragon Gate GM (and former wrestler) Ryo Saito will make a special appearance at the event, as will Matt Sydal, currently signed with All Elite Wrestling but out due to injury.

9 PM PT UPDATE: Live updates begin now.

Mandatory FBI Warning then a 10 second countdown before…

Another Mandatory FBI Warning then…

We are LIVE form The Pearl Theater at The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, NV. Your hosts are Joe Dombrowski (who is also our ring announcer) & Rich Bocchini.

The paid attendance should be announced at a later time. Usually these in-casino Vegas venues hold anywhere from 500-2000, I’ve never been to this particular one yet so I don’t know what the setup is and from what I can see at ringside it’s not a legit sellout. But a decent-looking and sounding crowd, I’m going to guess it’ll be in the range of 600-700.

We get right to the matches after the ring announcer’s intro. Presumably no time limits like there normally is in Japan.

Match 1: Kzy vs. Marcus Mathers
Result: Kzy beat Marcus Mathers

Match 2: Stardom Match-Starlight Kid & AZM vs. Natsuko Tora & Konami
Result: Starlight Kid & AZM beat Natsuko Tora & Konami. AZM pinned Konami after Azumi Sushi.

Match 3: Ho Ho Lun vs. Rhys Maddox
Result: Ho Ho Lun beat Rhys Maddox

Match 4: Ultimo Dragon, La Estrella & El Cucuy vs. Evan Rivers, Judas Icarus & Travis Williams
Result: Ultimo Dragon, La Estrella & El Cucuy beat Evan Rivers, Judas Icarus & Travis Williams. Dragon pinned Rivers with La Magistral.

Match 5: Ben-K & Hyo vs. Rich Swann & Willie Mack and Cole Radrick & Alex Prince in a 3-way
Result: Rich Swann & WIllie Mack beat Ben-K & Hyo and Cole Radrick & Alex Prince in a 3-way when Swann pinned Hyo.

Matt Sydal comes out. He puts the promotion and everyone over and also promotes Friday’s event at Meet Las Vegas.

Main Event: YAMATO, Dragon Kid & Susumu Yokosuka vs. Shun Skywalker, Kota Minoura & ISHIN
Result: YAMATO, Dragon Kid & Susumu Yokosuka beat Shun Skywalker, Kota Minoura & ISHIN. YAMATO pinned ISHIN after Ragnarok. YAMATO post-match promo followed to wrap things up…although Rich Swann interrupted things. He’s spent some time in Dragon Gate in the past and, despite all respect for YAMATO, he wants a match against him Friday. Accepted by YAMATO in Japanese. Swann then left the ring to end the broadcast.

For the first Dragon Gate USA event in a decade it was a good mix of Japanese and American & European independent wrestling. A little more emphasis on the latter but the Stardom match was a nice addition too, and it was a neat & tidy presentation wrapping up in just over 2 hours. And there’s one more event coming which hopefully will lead to more US returns in the future.

End Show.

The second event of the US return is Friday at Meet Las Vegas. Live streaming on TrillerTV/FITE with a Trillet+ subscription as part of The Collective will begin at 8 PM PT/11 PM ET.
