Today’s event was held at Ueno Park Outdoor Stage in Tokyo and will be available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE Thursday. There was no live broadcast.

Match 2: Aeroboy beat Ryoma Tsukamoto.

Match 3: Shota & Mio Shirai beat Rinno Mitsuki & Riara. Shirai pinned Riara after Purple Flash. (Before they went their separate ways, Shirai was, at least in storyline/kayfabe, the sister of Io Shirai aka Iyo Sky in WWE. I don’t think they are actually related though)

Match 4: Kuroshio TOKYO Japan vs. Poison Sawada JULIE went to a Double KO.

Match 5: Naruki Doi beat Mac Matsushita (?).

Match 6: TAKA Michinoku beat MIKAMI.

Main Event: Hikaru Sato, Fuminori Abe & Munenori Sawa beat Brahmans Shu, Kei & Yuji (Yuji Nagata) by countout. Yuji counted out. Which led to…

Injury Report: Not Able To Live Up To His Name

He isn’t really one, and he certainly is no Jedi, but Shun Skywalker is a bit of a big man high-flier in Dragon Gate. But he’s been grounded for now. Knee injury suffered at DANGEROUS GATE 2025 Sunday. Out at least a week. No further details known yet.

More as it becomes available.

Dragon Gate 8/17/25 Results

DANGEROUS GATE 2025, Dragon Gate’s monthly signature major event, went down earlier today.

Today’s event was held at Ota City General Gym in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on DRAGONGATE NETWORK. You can also watch the first match FOR FREE on YouTube.

Match 7: Yuki Yoshioka & Dragon Dia beat Open The Twin Gate Champions Kota Minoura & Jason Lee to win the titles. Yoshioka & Dia become the 69th Open The Twin Gate Champions. Yoshioka pinned Minoura after High Fly Flow. The post-hair-losing at DEAD OR ALIVE 2025 comeback really takes off now for Yoshioka as he gets some revenge on Z-Brats.

Main Event: Madoka Kikuta beat Open The Dream Gate Champion Shun Skywalker to win the title. Kikuta becomes the 42nd Open The Dream Gate Champion. 2nd reign begins and ends Skywalker’s latest before it even got going. Based on post-match comments translated from Weekly Pro, Z-Brats is all but dead now as Kikuta took pretty much everyone in the faction except Homare (and the occasionally-appearing Gianni Valetta) to form a new faction.

The next event is Thursday at Kumamoto Castle Hall Civic Hall in Kumamoto. There will be no live or on demand broadcast.

Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling 8/17/25 LIVE Results (Updated)

Tokyo Joshi Pro continues the Tokyo Princess Cup today with the Semifinals. After the random re-draw to re-do the pairings the final 4 got mixed up from the original bracket to give us today’s matches-the first one is Shoko Nakajima vs. Miu watanabe and the second is Yuki Arai vs. Arisu Endo. The winners will meet in the finals for the next shot at Princess Of Princess Champion Mizuki, likely at WRESTLE PRINCESS 6 next month.

There have been last-minute changes to the card today because Suzume is now off the event. The always-vague poor health. She was to have teamed with Ren Konatsu to face HIMAWARI & Mifu Ashida. It’s now a 3-way with Mahiro Kiryu replacing Ashida and Ashida replacing Kiryu in a 6-woman tag match teaming with Hyper Misao & Toga against Mizuki, Raku & Pom Harajuku. This also means a planned portrait hand-over event with Suzume is now off. Refunds will be given to those who purchased her portraits in advance.

Today’s event will be held at Osaka Prefectural Gym 2 in Osaka and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE. There will likely be no commentary. There are 7 matches planned and the tournament matches will have no time limit so this event probably will run longer than normal, I anticipate it going around 2 1/2 hours.

Today’s lineup (match order TBA):
Mahiro Kiryu vs. Ren Konatsu & HIMAWARI in a 3-way
Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara vs. Kira Summer & Chika Nanase
Maki Itoh & Shino Suzuki vs. Haru Kazashiro & Uta Takami
Mizuki, Raku & Pom Harajuku vs. Hyper Misao, Toga & Mifu Ashida
Miyu Yamashita & Kaya Toribami vs. Rika Tatsumi & Yuki Aino
Tokyo Princess Cup Semifinals:
Yuki Arai vs. Arisu Endo
Shoko Nakajima vs. Miu Watanabe

Refresh this page occasionally for the latest results.

Updates below will begin at 8:30 PM PT/11:30 PM ET. The live stream is scheduled to begin 15 minutes before the event.

8:15 PM PT UPDATE: The live stream has begun. We should be going to the venue in just under 15 minutes.

8:20 PM PT UPDATE: Live updates begin now.

We are LIVE from Osaka Prefectural Gym 2 in Osaka, Japan. There is no commentary.

The paid attendance will be announced after the event. The initial seating map was for a setup of roughly 450, or about 1/3 of the venue’s normal post-pandemic capacity. I didn’t get a full-crowd shot as we went live unexpectedly early but based on advance ticket sales I’ll predict a small-ish number of around 350. (UPDATE: The announced paid attendance was 422, a full house/near sellout)

They must be on a tight clock today as Up Up Girls come out 5 minutes before the event start time.

The matches begin at 8:33 PM PT/11:33 PM ET. The order above is the actual order except the first 2 matches swapped positions.

Match 1: Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara vs. Kira Summer & Chika Nanase. 20 minute time limit
Result: Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara beat Kira Summer & Chika Nanase. Uehara beat Nanase with Banana Pillow.

Match 2: Mahiro Kiryu vs. Ren Konatsu & HIMAWARI in a 3-way. 20 minute time limit
Result: Mahiro Kiryu beat Ren Konatsu & HIMAWARI in a 3-way by beating Konatsu. After tying HIMAWARI’s hair to the ropes to keep the breakup from happening. Really.

Match 3: Maki Itoh & Shino Suzuki vs. Haru Kazashiro & Uta Takami. 20 minute time limit
Result: Maki Itoh & Shino Suzuki beat Haru Kazashiro & Uta Takami. Itoh beat Takami with Itoh whatever-it-is-this-time (Perish/Punish/Deluxe).

Match 4: Mizuki, Raku & Pom Harajuku vs. Hyper Misao, Toga & Mifu Ashida. 20 minute time limit
Result: Mizuki, Raku & Pom Harajuku beat Hyper Misao, Toga & Mifu Ashida. Mizuki pinned Toga after a diving foot stomp.

Match 5: Miyu Yamashita & Kaya Toribami vs. Rika Tatsumi & Yuki Aino. 20 minute time limit
Result: Rika Tatsumi & Yuki AIno beat Miyu Yamashita & Kaya Toribami. Aino pinned Toribami after Venus DDT.

Match 6: Tokyo Princess Cup Semifinals: Yuki Arai vs. Arisu Endo. No time limit
Result: Arisu Endo beat Yuki Arai. As a result, Endo advances to the Finals. Obviously VERY UNHAPPY about this.

Main Event: Tokyo Princess Cup Semifinals: Shoko Nakajima vs. Miu Watanabe. No time limit
Result: Miu Watanabe beat Shoko Nakajima. As a result, Watanabe advances to the Finals.

The Final is Endo vs. Watanabe. It also means that on 8/23 the TBA facing Itoh will not be either of these two.

The Final is Saturday at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE in Japanese and English will begin Friday at 7:30 PM PT/10:30 PM ET. Kira Summer and referee Fumirin will be guests on English commentary.

UPDATE: The TBA facing Maki Itoh Saturday, who is an eliminated tournament wrestler, has been announced…Yuki Arai. Oh boy…

(A)-Wins block and will advance to Semifinals
(*)-Will finish 2nd or 3rd in block and advance to Quarterfinals

The top 3 in each block advance.
In Red A, Kamitani wins the block and will advance to the Semifinals. Priestley will finish 2nd and is through to the Quarterfinals but will still try to spoil Kamitani’s unbeaten run tomorrow. 3rd depends on Hanan, if she wins her final match tomorrow or goes to a time limit draw (Mizumori), she finishes 3rd and advances. If Mizumori wins or it’s a no point scenario for both, there probably will have to be a tiebreaker match between Hanan & Seira because their head-to-head result was a time limit draw.
In Red B, it’s 4 fighting for 3-AZM has the lead ahead of her final match tomorrow (Kurara) and a win puts her through. The Kid-Natsupoi winner, if there is one, also advances and that also means Rina advances. If it’s a time limit draw, it’s complicated because of tiebreakers. Rina has no tiebreakers because she lost to AZM and Natsupoi plus went to a time limit draw with Kid today. AZM has tiebreaker over Natsupoi & Rina but went to a draw with Kid. Kid’s only loss so far is to Inaba but has the 2 draws. But multi-way ties likely mean the odd one out is Rina.
In Blue A, Anou advanced with her win today and Bozilla is also advancing. Who wins the block will be determined tomorrow when Bozilla faces Sohrei-if Bozilla wins, she goes to the Semifinals. If Sohrei wins, Anou goes to the Semifinals and Sohrei also advances. If a time limit draw, they may need a tiebreaker match because Bozilla-Anou was a draw but Sohrei will advance in 3rd. Also, if Bozilla wins, both Amasaki & Iida have a chance to advance but it can get complicated. The simple ways: On tiebreakers Sohrei beats Iida but Amasaki beats Sohrei. In a 3-way tie, same but Iida beat Amasaki today, so…yeah.
In Blue B it’s also wide open but I’m marking Sareee as advancing because it appears she has all the tiebreakers-her only loss is to Konami and her draw is against Suzuki. Yagami is mathematically alive but has an extremely narrow path in-she must beat Suzuki to have any chance. However, tiebreakers do not favor her so in all straight-up scenarios she is out. After her epic collapse and finishing with 3 straight losses, Watanabe is on the hotseat but can still advance, for that to happen HANAKO must lose her final match (Hina) or Yagami must beat Suzuki and then Watanabe has tiebreakers. HANAKO advances with a win. Suzuki must beat Yagami or have Hina beat HANAKO.

The final day of the preliminary rounds is tomorrow at Act City Hamamatsu Exhibition Event Hall Block 2 in Shizuoka. Live streaming on Stardom World will begin TONIGHT at 9 PM PT/midnight ET.
