DDT 9/14/25 & 9/15/25 Results

DDT ran events yesterday & today in Hokkaido, didn’t get a chance to post results yesterday.

Both events were held at Sapporo Sun Plaza in Hokkaido and will be available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE Wednesday & Thursday, respectively. There were no live broadcasts.

The paid attendance was not announced.

Yesterday:
Match 1: MJ Paul beat Kazuma Sumi.

Match 2: Yuki Iino, Tomomitsu Matsunaga & Ryuju (?) beat Yuya Kotoku, Hinata Kasai & ?. Iino pinned Kasai after a lariat.

Match 3: Jun Akiyama, Koji Yoshida (?) & Daichi Sato beat Kazusada Higuchi, Yukio Naya & Yuki Ishida. Sato pinned Ishida after Mad Splash.

Match 4: In a 10 minute Sapporo Marathon Style Deathmatch, where points were scored for pinfalls, submissions, countouts and for dancing while wearing Kazuki Hirata’s sunglasses and points were lost for DQs, Akito beat Kazuki Hirata 7-0. Afterwards, Akito tried to cash in his “Money In The Bank” title shot right but, as he has already done several times before, Hirata found a comedy way out.

Match 5: MAO & KANON beat HARASHIMA & Danshoku Dieno and Chris Brookes & Takeshi Masada in a 3-way when MAO pinned Dieno.

Match 6: Yuki Ueno beat Hideki Okatani by ref stoppage (techncail submission). As a result, Ueno wins Okatani’s title shot rights.

Main Event: In a Stop Spoilers! Unicast Deathmatch, where the first to get a pinfall or submission while streaming live on the WRESTLE UNIVERSE Unicast feature on a mobile phone or by stopping the opponent’s broadcast wins, DDT Extreme Champion To-y beat Illusion to retain the title. V3 for To-y.

Today:
Match 1: Hideki Okiatani, Illusion & MJ Paul beat Danshoku Dieno, Kazuma Sumi & Ryuju (?). Illusion pinned Sumi after a swanton bomb.

Match 2: To-y, Koji Yoshida & ? beat Yukio Naya, Tomomitsu Matsunaga & Hinata Kasai. To-y pinned Kasai after Kojima Wonderland.

Match 2: Chris Brookes, Jun Akiyama & Takeshi Masada beat Yuki Iino, Yuki Ueno & Yuki Ishida. Masada pinned Ishida.

Match 5: In a 10 minute Sapporo Marathon Style Deathmatch, same rules as yesterday (above), Kazuki Hirata vs. Akito apparently never ended. During the match, Akito successfully cashed in his title shot rights. Which led to…
Impromptu Match: KO-D Openweight Champion Kazuki Hirata beat Akito to retain the title. V1 for Hirata. Akito did win the non-title deathmatch. 2 “Money In The Bank” title shot rights left, currently held by Ueno & Naya.

Match 5: Kazusada HIguchi beat Daichi Sato.

Main Event: MAO & KANON beat HARASHIMA & Yuya Koroku. MAO beat Koroku with a deformed face lock.

The next event is Wednesday at Kirana Garden Toyasu in Tokyo for a one-match BBQ Street Pro Wrestling event. There will be no live broadcast. On demand Sunday.

New Japan 9/15/25 Results

New Japan began their fall Hokkaido tour today as the second half of the Road To DESTRUCTION Tour.

Today’s event was held at Nippon Engineering College Hokkaido College Gym Arena in Hokkaido and can be watched on demand on New Japan World

The announced paid attendance was 1012.

There was a last-minute change to the card, specifically match 2, due to Yota Tsuji being a late removal from the event. The always-vague poor health.

Match 1: Shota Umino won a 14 man battle royal, last eliminating Dick Togo.

Match 2: David Finlay & Gabriel Kidd beat Daiki Nagai & Shingo Takagi. Finlay pinned Nagai after a powerbomb.

Match 3: Taiji Ishimori, OSKAR & Yuto Ice beat TAKA Michinoku, Taichi & Tomohiro Ishii. Ice pinned TAKA after K.O.B.

Match 4: DOUKI, Sho, Yujiro Takahashi, SANADA & Ren Narita beat Kosei Fujita, Robbie Eagles, Hartley Jackson, Ryohei Oiwa & Zack Sabre Jr. Narita beat Jackson with Hell’s Guillotine.

Main Event: A 3-part 3 Falls match went as follows:
1-Tomoaki Honma, Togi Makabe & Toru Yano beat Ryusuke Taguchi, El Desperado & Hiroshi Tanahashi. Yano pinned Taguchi.
2-El Desperado & Hiroshi Tanahashi beat Takashi Iizuka & Toru Yano by DQ. Iizuka DQ’d.
3-Hiroshi Tanahashi beat Yoru Yano. Tanahashi beats Yano 2-1.

All-Japan Pro Wrestling 9/15/25 LIVE Results

All-Japan wraps up the Royal Road Tournament today in Tokyo with the Semifinals & Finals as part of a morning matinee (it’s a holiday in Japan). The Final 4 are Kento Miyahara, Daisuke Sekimoto, Ren Ayabe and Ryuki Honda with the first 2 and the last 2 being the Semifinals and the winners moving on to the Finals. The winner likely will get the next shot at Triple Crown Champion Jun Saito.

The event will also feature a memorial ceremony for Taishin Nagao, the rookie who died earlier this month after a 3-plus month hospitalization following injuries suffered in an accident involving one of the promotion’s vehicles at the end of May. He would have turned 22 over the last few days and the wrestlers continue to post tributes & condolences on social media. The promotion announced a flower table for fans in attendance to leave flowers will be set up at all remaining events this year starting today.

Today’s event will be held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on AJPW.TV in Japanese. This will also be a live Samurai! TV broadcast in Japan. The event is a legit advance sellout. There are 7 matches scheduled with an intermission after the 4th match (after which the first team in this year’s World’s Strongest Tag League/Real World Tag League will be announced) and 3 matches have no time limit plus a title match opens the show, so I anticipate this will be a longer Korakuen event than usual with a running time of around 3 hours.

It appears his body may have been cremated as Hideki Suzuki is holding what could be a box with his ashes in the ring alongside Kento Miyahara holding a framed picture of Nagao. A 10 bell salute is held after the announcer’s narrative. The final ceremonial introductory announcement, often done upon a wrestler’s retirement, concludes the ceremony. Commentary joins at the end of the ceremony.

Result: MUSASHI & Seiki Yoshioka beat All-Asia Tag Team Champions Yuma & Atsuki Aoyagi to win the titles. MUSASHI & Yoshioka become the 127th All-Asia Tag Team Champions. MUSASHI pinned Atsuki Aoyagi after Niten First Class.

Match 2: Royal Road Semifinals: Kento Miyahara vs. Daisuke Sekimoto. No time limit
Result: Kento Miyaraha beat Daisuke Sekimoto. As a result, Miyahara advances to the Finals.

Result: Kento Miyahara beat Ryuki Honda to win the tournament. As a result, Miyahara will likely get the next Triple Crown shot. As expected I guess, every 3-4 times or so it’s gotta be him.

Tokyo Joshi Pro headed back to Fukushima today for another Arisu Endo hometown event.

Today’s event was held at Aizuwakamatsu City Tsuruga Castle Gym in Fukushima and will be available on demand on WRESTLE UNVIERSE Tuesday. There was no live broadcast.

The announced paid attendance was 567, a legit sellout.

Match 1: Kaya Toribami beat Uta Takami.

Match 2: Hyper Misao beat Chika Nanase.

Match 3: Raku & Pom Harajuku beat HIMAWARI & Ren Konatsu. Harajuku pinned Konatsu after Pomu. Do. Justis.

Match 4: Miu Watanabe beat Mahiro Kiryu & Toga in a 3-way by pinning Kiryu.

Match 5: Aja Kong (OZ Academy), Suzume & Shino Suzuki beat Rika Tatsumi, Yuki Aino & Kira Summer. Kong pinned Summer after a lariat.

Match 6: Mizuki beat Mifu Ashida.

Main Event: Yuki Arai & Arisu Endo beat Miyu Yamashita & Haru Kazashiro. Endo pinned Kazashiro after The 10th Law. Afterwards, Arai & Endo were given prizes from local sponsors for winning.

The next event is WRESTLE PRINCESS 6, the promotion’s most important event of the year (maybe biggest although GRAND PRINCESS may be bigger), on 9/20 at Ota City General Gym in Tokyo. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin Friday at 9:30 PM PT/12:30 AM ET.

UPDATE: At yesterday’s MLW Fightland event in the US, which is why Shoko Nakajima & Yuki Kamifuku were off this event, Nakajima beat Kamifuku to retain the MLW Women’s Featherweight Championship. That event is available on demand FOR FREE on YouTube.

DDT 9/12/25 Results

DDT ran one more of its Beer Garden Pro Wrestling events today in Tokyo, this one dubbed “Overtime”.

Today’s event was held at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.

The paid attendance was not announced.

Before the event a signing ceremony was held for this Sunday’z upcoming DDT Extreme Championship match between To-y & Illusion. It will involve streaming WRESTLE UNIVERSE during the match.

KO-D Openweight Champion Kazuki Hirata appeared with a bodyguard to protect against “Money On The Bank” title shot right cash-ins. He nominated (again) GM Imabayashi for the 9/28 title match but he refused.

Now then…

Match 1: Shinya Aoki beat Takeshi Masada.

Match 2: Akito, Takao Soma & Rukiya beat Daichi Sato, Yuki Ishida & Hinata Kasai. Akito pinned Ishida. As a result, Akito wins Ishida’s title shot right.

Daisuke Sasaki appeared, currently out due to a broken rib. He announces he will be back for his next produced event on 10/2 which also will now feature Jun Kasai vs. Hideki Okatani in a hardcore match.

Match 3: To-y, Yuya Koroku & Kazuma Suni beat Hideki Okatani, MJ Paul & Illusion by DQ. Illusion DQ’d. Ref assault.

Match 4: HARASHIMA, Keisuke Ishii & MAO beat Yuki Ueno, Toru Owashi & Tomomitsu Matsunaga. Ishii pinned Matsunaga.

Match 5: Yukio Naya & Kazusada Higuchi beat Yuki iino & Jun Akiyama. Naya pinned Iino with La Magistral. As a result, Naya wins Iino’s title shot right.

Main Event: In a Enter Sandman Match, Antonio Honda beat Kazuki Hirata, Danshoku Dieno, Chris Brookes & KANON in a 5-way by pinning Hirata.

Afterwards, an attack on Hirata led to the naming of his 9/28 challenger…the attacker itself…Yoshihiko! Let the indescribable epic awesomeness of that sink in because I can’t describe my level of excitedness for it. GOD BLESS DDT.

Injury Report: Sidelined Stardoms

Stardom has announced a pair of injury updates today as both Mei Seira & Suzu Suzuki are now sidelined. Undisclosed injuries & treatment. Seira is out “a short time” but at least the next event. Suzuki is expected to be out about a month. That suggests both have minor injuries. It sounds like it will not affect the High Speed Championship held by Seira.

New Japan 9/12/25 Results

Shinnichi Champion, a variety show New Japan launched during the pandemic on New Japan World, celebrated its 5th anniversary today with a unique show-themed event. (The show also was renewed for a 6th year)

Today’s event was held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on New Japan World as a PPV for $21.99 US.

The announced paid attendance was 1517, a legit advance sellout.

Match 1: Katsuya Murashima, YOSHI-HASHI & Yuji Nagata beat Shoma Kato, Toru Yano & Togi Makabe. YOSHI-HASHI beat Kato with Butterfly Lock. Satoshi Kojima & Tomoaki Honma were on commentary for this match.

Match 2: Hikaru Sato (All-Japan) won a Masked Battle Royal, where eliminations were by removing other wrestlers’ masks, last eliminating Great-O-Khan. As a result, Sato gets to produce a future episode of Shinnichi Champion.

Match 3: Master Wato, Boltin Oleg, El Desperado & Hiroshi Tanahashi beat Dick Togo, Yoshinobu Kanemaru, Ren Narita & EVIL. Tanahashi beat Togo with a Texas Cloverleaf.

Match 4: Masatora Tasuda won a 7 man Handsome Battle Royal. Among the lovely ladies who were special guests for this matxh were popular Samurai! TV personality Miki Motoi and Pieter, Yujiro Takahashi’s “personal dancer” who makes occasional special appearances (she’s also a pro Brazilian samba dancer outside the ring as well as a personal trainer).

Main Event: Ryusuke Taguchi, Taichi, Tomohiro Ishii & Zack Sabre Jr. beat Kosei Fujita, Ryohei Oiwa, Yuya Uemura & Shota Umino. Ishii pinned Oiwa.
