She will remain active with the promotion and under her current management by the Zest Corp. talent agency. Arai is approaching one year as International Princess Champion, a milestone she will reach at her next defense on 1/4.

BREAKING: Stardom Suspends, Punishes Thekla
Following her actions post-match at yesterday’s Stardom event, where she beat down everyone in range and not just wrestlers, Thekla has been given the following punishment due to assaulting management: A 3 WEEK SUSPENSION WITHOUT PAY, AND a $2000 fine (this apparently is in addition to the suspension). That means she is out until the 12/22 event. The staffer was hospitalized but diagnosed with only bruising and is out a week. He didn’t want Thekla to be punished but because it wasn’t negligence on his part and it was an intentional attack, plus President Taro Okada has a vendetta against Thekla and H.A.T.E., it was decided on. The social media war has started already.

Stardom wraps up the preliminary round of the Goddess Of Stardom Tag League Tournament today, and there is a lot at stake in these final matches. The top 3 in each block advance but only the winners go to the Semifinals, the other 2 teams must face off in an elimination match for that second spot. In the Red Block, Hazuki & Koguma will win and advance to the Semifinals and Maika & HANAKO will finish 2nd because of tiebreakers (their only loss so far is to Hazuki & Koguma) but that leaves 3rd and who they will face up for grabs and it’s wide open. Plus Maika & HANAKO can play spoiler by keeping Tam Nakano & Sayaka Kurara possibly out of 3rd by beating them. Beyond that it’ll all but come down to tiebreakers. In the Blue Block, Saori Anou & Natsupoi will win and advance to the Semifinals but 4 teams have a chance at the other two spots. Mei Seira & Cohaku unfortunately had their last match yesterday (they did their part and won) so they can only hope tiebreakers may go their way. Momo Watanabe & Thekla face Hanan & Saya Iida in perhaps the most critical match, both must win and, in the latter’s case, hope that Ranna Yagami & Lady C can somehow pull another upset and beat Starlight Kid & Suzu Suzuki. Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling “TJPW 11th Birthday” LIVE Results (12/1/24)
Tokyo Joshi Pro celebrates their 11th birthday/anniversary today with an event in Tokyo on the day they began as a DDT sub-brand in 2013, and appropriately this kicks off a doubleheader with DDT following. The event will also feature a title match main event as, after winning the NEXGENE Tournament in a bit of an upset, Haru Kazashiro earned a title shot of her choice and chose the Princess Tag Team Championship with Toga, who she beat to win the tournament, so they will face current champions Miyu Yamashita & Maki Itoh for the titles headlining the card. The likely semi-final match features all the Up Up Girls together in an 8-woman tag.
The promotion has already announced that Pom Harajuku will miss the event due to having competed in Thailand today, where she won the SETUP Thailand All-Asia Women’s Championship for her first career championship. I’m sure Max The Impaler is very proud of Pom too!

Then she spoke in English-she is originally from Manchester, England. When DDT hopefully posts more on their website a little later I’ll edit this with more about her. And they already have…Her name is Ivy Steele, she is 25 and currently is an exchange student. She will be changing her ring name, possibly to her original ring name FiFi. She has been wrestling for almost 7 years (debuted in February 2018) and attended & passed the TJPW fall auditions. Her TJPW debut will be on 12/14 at Yokohama Radiant Hall in Yokohama.

Injury Report: Blank Shooter For A Day
New Japan has announced an injury change to the upcoming event tomorrow in Osaka: Shota Umino is now off. Left ankle injury suffered yesterday. Out tomorrow but tentatively scheduled to return Monday. He was to have teamed with Tiger Mask to face Chase Owens & KENTA. Tomoaki Honma is the replacement. If Umino can’t return Monday it would have World Tag League implications as he & Honma are still in Block A contention at 2-3, 4 points, a 4-way tie behind 4 at 3-2, 6 points for the top 2 spots to advance.
