DEVELOPING: NOAH English Twitter Banned

Oops…Pro Wrestling NOAH has announced their official English language Twitter account has been suspended aka banned. Apparently a post made with post-match comments from Great–O-Khan, who appeared at the 9/3 event to team with The Great Muta, was deemed a “violent threat” and thus Twitter shut down the account. The promotion has appealed and is trying to get the account restored. Khan, who is based in New Japan, clearly showed no love for NOAH in the match and got a surprise mist blast from Muta after the natch., likely leading to the comments. Comeuppance?

FREE LIMITED TIME VIDEO: RED HEADED REVIVAL

New Japan has made a special documentary movie, RED HEADED REVIVAL, available for a limited time on New Japan World and YouTube. The video follows Hiromu Takahashi’s early career with a focus on a life-threatening broken neck suffered in a match in the US in 2018 against Ryu Lee (who may now be Dragon Lee in Ring Of Honor, rehab and his triumphant return to NJPW, culminating in winning the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship at Tokyo Dome shortly after his return, and also spotlighting the beginning of his YouTube channel when the pandemic began in 2020. I watched the movie last night and it’s very entertaining with plenty of Takahashi’s flamboyant, comedic personality on display and some fun facts you might not know about the Time Bomb.
The movie is in Japanese but a subtitled version in English is also available. Click below to watch but DON’T WAIT! It’s only available until 9/21!
