DDT 9/12/25 Results

DDT ran one more of its Beer Garden Pro Wrestling events today in Tokyo, this one dubbed “Overtime”.

Today’s event was held at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.

The paid attendance was not announced.

Before the event a signing ceremony was held for this Sunday’z upcoming DDT Extreme Championship match between To-y & Illusion. It will involve streaming WRESTLE UNIVERSE during the match.

KO-D Openweight Champion Kazuki Hirata appeared with a bodyguard to protect against “Money On The Bank” title shot right cash-ins. He nominated (again) GM Imabayashi for the 9/28 title match but he refused.

Now then…

Match 1: Shinya Aoki beat Takeshi Masada.

Match 2: Akito, Takao Soma & Rukiya beat Daichi Sato, Yuki Ishida & Hinata Kasai. Akito pinned Ishida. As a result, Akito wins Ishida’s title shot right.

Daisuke Sasaki appeared, currently out due to a broken rib. He announces he will be back for his next produced event on 10/2 which also will now feature Jun Kasai vs. Hideki Okatani in a hardcore match.

Match 3: To-y, Yuya Koroku & Kazuma Suni beat Hideki Okatani, MJ Paul & Illusion by DQ. Illusion DQ’d. Ref assault.

Match 4: HARASHIMA, Keisuke Ishii & MAO beat Yuki Ueno, Toru Owashi & Tomomitsu Matsunaga. Ishii pinned Matsunaga.

Match 5: Yukio Naya & Kazusada Higuchi beat Yuki iino & Jun Akiyama. Naya pinned Iino with La Magistral. As a result, Naya wins Iino’s title shot right.

Main Event: In a Enter Sandman Match, Antonio Honda beat Kazuki Hirata, Danshoku Dieno, Chris Brookes & KANON in a 5-way by pinning Hirata.

Afterwards, an attack on Hirata led to the naming of his 9/28 challenger…the attacker itself…Yoshihiko! Let the indescribable epic awesomeness of that sink in because I can’t describe my level of excitedness for it. GOD BLESS DDT.

The next event is Sunday at Sapporo Sun Plaza in Hokkaido. There will be no live broadcast. On demand scheduled for Thursday.

DEVELOPING: DDT Title Vacated (Updated)

Developing from DDT-the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Championship is now VACANT. Previous champions Daisuke Sasaki, Hideki Okatani & Illusion have vacated the title due to the current Sasaki injury that has him out indefinitely (fractured ribs). It was Sasaki’s decision after consultations. No word on plans yet for new champions.

More as it becomes available.

UPDATE: Determination match between Okatani, Illusion & MJ Paul and Yuki Ueno, To-y & Kaisei Takechi to crown new champions is set for 9/28 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo.

DDT 9/6/25 Results (Event 2)

As noted earlier today, DDT ran a doubleheader in Yokohama today, below are results from the second event.

Today’s event was held at Yokohama Radiant Hall in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.

The paid attendance was not announced.

Before the event began, a press conference was held to announce Yuki Iino had signed a contract with Nojima Sagamihara Rise, a (American) football team in Japan, where he will be a trainee and attempt to make the team for the next season. He will continue with DDT and be dual-contracted.

During the NwA Jr. live performance, Shunma Katsumata announced he will be having ACL reconstruction surgery. That will keep him out a while but he promised to make an early comeback.

There was also a last-minute change to the card due to Akito being off. Aggravation of a prior unspecified injury.

Match 1: Naomi Yoshimura & Tomomitsu Matsunaga beat Rukiya & Hinata Kasai. Yoshimura pinned Kasai.

A signing ceremony for the DDT Universal Championship match on 9/28 between Minoru Suzuki & Takeshi Masada was held. Suzuki then beat down Masada.

Match 2: HARASHIMA, Kazusada Higuchi & Yuki Ishida beat Shigehiro Irie (GLEAT), Takao Soma & Kazuma Sumi. Ishida pinned Sumi after Flame Palm.

After the last match, Ishida tried to cash in his “Money In The Bank” title shot right for a KO-D Openweight Championship match. But there was no Kazuki Hirata at the venue. Yet.

Match 3: Hideki Okatani, Illusion & MJ Paul beat MAO, KANON & Daichi Sato. Paul pinned Sato after a reverse splash.

Match 4: Yuki Ueno, To-y & Yuya Koroku beat Yuki Iino, Yukio Naya & Jun Akiyama. Koroku pinned Naya after countering The World’s Largest Backdrop.

Match 5: Minoru Suzuki & Shinya Aoki beat Chris Brookes & Takeshi Masada. Suzuki beat Masada with a heel hook.

Main Event: Kazuki Hirata beat Danshoku Dieno & Antonio Honda in a 3-way by pinning Honda. Ishida tried again to cash in his title shot, but Dieno & Honda helped Hirata escape. Then, at the post-event autograph session, Ishida tried yet again, but…because it was after the event had ended, invalid. Defeats the point of anytime, anywhere, doesn’t it?

The next event is Friday at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin at 3 AM PT/6 AM ET.

BREAKING: Japanese Football Is BURNING!!!

DDT has made a very interesting news announcement within the hour-Yuki Iino has signed a contract with Japan-based American Football team Nojima Sagamihara Rise, his hometown team, as a trainee and will attempt to make the team for next season’s Japan Premier League season. He is now double-contracted and will continue his pro wrestling career with DDT going forward.

DDT Pro Wrestling 9/6/25 LIVE Results (Event 1)

DDT runs a straight doubleheader in Yokohama today starting with a D GENERATIONS event. Focusing on the younger, less experienced roster members, the 6th such event will have, perhaps fittingly, 6 single matches. Although they’ll probably save other happening for later, keep in mind there are still 3 “Money In The Bank” title shot rights out there following Kazuki Hriata cashing in last weekend after Yuki Ueno won the KO-D Openweight Championship and shocking everyone by winning the title. So card subject to change, but not likely. (The current rights holders are Yuya Koroku, who intends to cash in for a KO-D Tag Team Championship shot at an upcoming event, Hideki Okatani & Yuki Iino)

Also, for the second event today there has been a last-minute change as Akito is now off. Aggravated an old injury.

Today’s event will be held at Yokohama Radiant Hall in Yokohama and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE. There will be no commentary. All matches will have a 15 minute time limit so this will be a short event probably running just over 90 minutes but no more than 2 hours.

Today’s lineup:

Illusion vs. Rukiya
Ryoma Tsukamoto vs. DaichI Sato
Hideki Okatani vs. Kazuma Sumi

Today’s event was held at Ueno Park Outdoor Stage in Tokyo and will be available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE Friday. There was no live broadcast.

There was a pre-show match which was a tag team match with names I don’t know.

Match 2 (yet again): HARASHIMA & Naomi Yoshimura beat Kazuki Hirata & Danshoku Dieno. HARASHIMA pinned hirata after Blue Sword. Afterwards, HARASHIMA made a KO-D Openweight Championship challenge to Hirata but was rejected.

Main Event: Kazusada Higuchi, Ryota Nakatsu & Yuki Ishida beat Satoshi Kojima (New Japan), Antonio Honda & Yuya Koroku. Ishida pinned Honda after Flame Palm.

After the event, it was announced that Hirata’s first scheduled title defense will happen on 9/28 at Korakuen Hall vs. TBA. But with the “subject to change” caveat due to the Money In The Bank title shot rights out there.

The next event is Saturday at Yokohama Radiant Hall in Yokohama for a D GENERATIONS event. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin Friday at 8:30 PM PT/11:30 PM ET.

DDT Pro Wrestling “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2025 Day 2” LIVE Results (8/31/25) (Updated)

WRESTLE PETER PAN, DDT’s biggest event of the year, continues today with Day 2 of this year’s 2 day version. Following up on yesterday’s Day 1 there are more big matches on tap including another KO-D Openweight Championship match: After a successful defense yesterday against Jun Akiyama, Kazusada Higuchi now defends against former champion Yuki Ueno, and there are 4 “Monty In The Bank” title shot holders out there so anything is possible. There is also another KO-D Tag Team Championship match today-because Yuki Iino & Yukio Naya retained the titles yesterday, their match today against HARASHIMA & Shinya Aoki is now for the titles. Additionally, the Hiroshi Tanahashi Retirement Road makes a final stop here as the icon of New Japan Pro Wrestling faces Danshoku Dieno.

There has been a last-minute change to the card because Daisuke Sasaki is now off due to an apparent side injury suffered yesterday. He was to have teamed with Hideki Okatani to face Chris Brookes & Takeshi Masada and Naomi Yoshimura & Yuki Ishida in a 3-way. MJ Paul is the replacement.

Today’s event will be held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE in Japanese. The event is a legit advance sellout. Members of a group called Dow 90000, which are active in theater, comedy and drama among other genres, will be special guests on commentary. There are only 7 matches today with no intermission so it probably won’t be as long an event as yesterday was, although there are 3 title matches so it is probably going to run longer than a normal Korakuen event, I’m anticipating a running time of around 3 hours.

Today’s lineup:
To-y, Daichi Sato, Rukiya & Hinata Kasai vs. Illusion, Yuya Koroku, Munetatsu Nakamura & Kazuma Sumi
Jun Akiyama, Super Sasadango Machine & Akito vs. Kazuki Hirata, KANON & Antonio Honda
Chris Brookes & Takeshi Masada vs. Hideki Okatani & MJ Paul and Naomi Yoshimura & Yuki Ishida in a 3-way
KO-D Tag Team Champions Yuki Iino & Yukio Naya vs. HARASHIMA & Shinya Aoki for the titles
DDT Universal Champion Minoru Suzuki vs. MAO for the title
Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Danshoku Dieno
KO-D Openweight Champion Kazusada Higuchi vs. Yuki Ueno for the title

Refresh this page occasionally for the latest results.

Updates below will begin at 6:40 PM PT/9:40 PM ET when the live stream is scheduled to begin. The event is scheduled to begin at 7 PM PT/10 PM ET.

6:40 PM PT UPDATE: The live stream has begun. We should be going to the venue shortly.

6:50 PM PT UPDATE: Live updates begin now.

We are LIVE from Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Your hosts are Satoshi Dairaku, Kagehiro Osano and guests Shota Sonoda & Moeka Nakashima. Haruo Murata will join as host later.

The paid attendance will not be announced after the event because they stopped doing that at the start of the year but it’s a legit advance sellout. That would, based on their setup today, probably mean around 1250 (bleacher seats are not full capacity due to the commentary setup).

The matches should begin in 15-20 minutes.

NwA Jr. performance begins 5 minutes before the event.

The matches begin at 7:06 PM PT/10:06 PM ET.

Match 1: To-y, Daichi Sato, Rukiya & Hinata Kasai vs. Illusion, Yuya Koroku, Munetatsu Nakamura & Kazuma Sumi. 20 minute time limit
Result: Illusion, Yuya Koroku, Munetatsu Nakamura & Kazuma Sumi beat To-y, Daichi Sato, Rukiya & Hinata Kasai. Koroku beat Sato with an armbar. As a result, Koroku wins Sato’s “Money In The Bank” title shot right.

Match 2: Jun Akiyama, Super Sasadango Machine & Akito vs. Kazuki Hirata, KANON & Antonio Honda. 30 minute time limit
Result: Jun Akiyama, Super Sasadango Machine & Akito beat Kazuki Hirata, KANON & Antonio Honda. Akiyama pinned Honda. As a result, per some pre-match money-producing by GM Imabayashi, Akiyama also won some money.

Sanshiro Takagi comes out. With microphone. Announcement about the upcoming 11/3 event at Ryogoku Kokugikan. Takagi calls out Hinata Kasai who is working “ringside boy” duties. Sounds like Takagi wants to face the just-debuted rookie in a match! Fist bump seemingly seals it. Updates to come. (It’s now official for 11/3)

Match 3: Chris Brookes & Takeshi Masada vs. Hideki Okatani & MJ Paul and Naomi Yoshimura & Yuki Ishida in a 3-way. 30 minute time limit
Reslut: Chris Brookes & Takeshi Masada beat Hideki Okatani & MJ Paul and Naomi Yoshimura & Yuki Ishida in a 3-way when Masada pinned Ishida.

Promo video for upcoming Kaisei Takechi matches. Scheduled for all remaining Korakuen Hall events this year plus 1/3/2026 (first 2026 event) and 11/3 where he will team with Konosuke Takeshita to face TBA & TBA.

Match 4: KO-D Tag Team Champions Yuki Iino & Yukio Naya vs. HARASHIMA & Shinya Aoki for the titles. 1 Hour time limit
Result: KO-D Tag Team Champions Yuki Iino & Yukio Naya beat HARASHIMA & Shinya Aoki to retain the titles. Naya pinned HARASHIMA after The World’s Largest Backdrop. V3 for the champs. Next up: To-y tried a sneak attack on Iino with an assist from Koroku but it didn’t work. So they just asked for it. Koroku teased cashing in his ‘Money In The Bank” title shot rights. Finally GM Imabayashi interrupted. It’s now official. That match will happen on, based on mentioning Osaka and the upcoming schedule, possibly 10/25.

Haruo Murata is your new host on commentary.

Match 5: DDT Universal Champion Minoru Suzuki vs. MAO for the title. 1 Hour time limit
Result: DDT Universal Champion Minoru Suzuki beat MAO to retain the title. V4 for Suzuki. Next up: Masada. Suzuki kept tossing him out of the ring and beating him down but GM Imabayashi made it official. That match will happen on either 9/25 or, more likely, 10/18.

Match 6: Hiroshi Tanahashi (New Japan) vs. Danshoku Dieno. 1 Hour time limit
Result: Hiroshi Tanahashi beat Danshoku Dieno by submission

Main Event: KO-D Openweight Champion Kazusada Higuchi vs. Yuki Ueno for the title. 1 Hour time limit
Result: Yuki Ueno beat KO-D Openweight Champion Kazusada Higuchi to win the title. Ueno becomes the 86th KO-D Openweight Champion. After some sponsor award stuff, Kazuki Hirata appeared and seemingly teased cashing in his “Money In The Bank” title shot right. AND HE DOES! Which led to…
Impromptu Match: KO-D Openweight Champion Yuki Ueno vs. Kazuki Hirata for the title. 1 Hour time limit
Result: Kazuki Hirata beat KO-D Openweight Champion Yuki Ueno to win the title. Hirata becomes the 87th KO-D Openweight Champion. UPSET ALERT TO THE MAX!!! Then he acted like he didn’t even want it! The wackiest and perhaps most hilarious title reign is about to begin…oh wait, it already has! GOD BLESS DDT PRO WRESTLING. The cameras follow Hirata backstage as everyone congratulates him with some comedy spots including when Toru Owashi is waiting behind a corner. He leads Hirata back out to the ring area while the original DDT theme song plays. The entire roster, or most of it, is in the ring (Tanahashi too). Owashi takes the belt before putting it on Hirata. Everyone else tries to fir into the ring for a group photo. Hirata still looked suspicious the whole time like it was going to be a setup…then HARASHIMA produced the one thing missing: THE SHADES! HIRATA GO! The usual Hirata was back now to really send the crowd home happy.

The next event is Tuesday at Ueno Park Outdoor Stage. There will be no live broadcast. On demand Friday (just hours before the next live broadcast!).

UPDATE: More on the Daisuke Sasaki injury-left rib fracture. Out indefinitely.
