Tokyo Joshi Pro continues the Max Heart Tournament today with the Semifinals. At this point it’s down to 3 heavy favorites left…and much to my dismay, Mizuki. One Semifinal has Mizuki & Uta Takami against Suzune & Arisu Endo, always favorites in the tournament. The other Semifinal has Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara vs. Max The Impaler & Pom Harajuku. Ober Eats are the Princess Tag Team Champions so if they lose they will likely be defending the titles at GRAND PRINCESS ‘26 against the eventual winners…which of course I hope is Wasteland Pom Party after a Finals loss last year.
There have been last-minute changes to the card since yesterday, mainly because Kaya Toribami is now off. Leg injury. Currently expected to be out 2 weeks. She was to have been in a 6-woman tag match. Raku replaces her and the match was reshuffled as a result, and because Raku was pulled from a 3-way against Hyoer Misao & Shino Suzuki that is now a single match. Also, before the event begins there will be a contract signing for the International Princess Championship match on 2/14 between MIRAI & Toga.
Today’s event will be held at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE and ABEMA. There will be no commentary. The signing ceremony is scheduled for 10 minutes before the event so that will make this a slightly longer event than.normal, I’m thinking close to 2 1/2 hours.

The paid attendance will be announced after the event. Advance sales were a bit weaker this time and there is a lot happening in the area today (Stardom and in particular sumo with a major event) so it might keep the numbers down today. It will depend on same-day sales but I’ll guess low and say 250. (UPDATE: The announced paid attendance was 282)
The contract signing for the 2/14 International Princess Championship match between MIRAI & Toga starts things off early. The matches should begin in 20-25 minutes. Relatively civil ceremony.
The opening announcements follow this, a couple minutes ahead of schedule. The charity fundraising efforts for Shinjiro Otani and his medical expenses have expanded to include support for fellow legend Yoshihiro Takayama. They finish with an announcement with that I’m guessing are upcoming hometown events for Mifu Ashida, Suzume & Miyu Yamashita. Updates to follow. (Update-That is the case. Ashida first on 4/4 at Fukuchiyama City Sandanike Park General Gymnasium in Kyoto. Yamashita second on 4/5 at Acros Fukuoka in Fukuoka. Match 4: Miu Watanabe, Rika Tatsumi & Mahiro Kiryu vs. Miyu Yamashita, Raku & Ren Konatsu. 20 minute time limit. Before the match began (and afte rKiryu stalling on her entrance) Tatsumi tried and failed to win the DDT Iron Man Heavymetalweight Championship from Kiryu.
Result: Miu Watanabe, Rika Tatsumi & Mahiro Kiryu beat Miyu Yamashita, Raku & Ren Konatsu. Tatsumi pinned Konatsu after Twist OF Fate. And of course sent Kiryu scrambling to get away from another Iron Man title attempt.
Match 5: MIRAI (Michinoku Pro) & Sarah Phoenix (from Chile for those curious) vs. Toga & Chika Nanase. 20 minute time limit
Result: MIRAI & Sarah Phoenix beat Toga & Chika Nanase. MIRAI beat Nanase with an armbar/toehold combo.
Match 6: Max Heart Tournament Semifinals: Suzune & Arisu Endo vs. Mizuki & Uta Takami. No time limit
Result: Mizuki & Uta Takami beat Suzume & Arisu Endo. Mizuki pinned Endo with Cutie Special. As a result, Mizuki & Takami advance to the Finals. Not happy happy…
Main Event: Max Heart Tournament Semifinals: Max The Inpaler & Pom Harajuku vs. Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara. No time limit
Result: Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara beat Max The Impaler & Pom Harajuku. Kamifuku pinned Harajuku after a middle-turnbuckle Fameasser. As a result, Kamifuku & Uehara advance to the Finals and will face Mizuki & Takami. That match will happen on 2/14 at Korakuen Hall. Not the Finals I was hoping for.
The next event is “Shoko Quest 4”, a Shoko Nakajima hometown event, on 2/11 at Duo Cerezo in Niigata. There will be no live broadcast. On demand on 2/12.
