Tokyo Joshi Pro 10/27/24 LIVE Results

Tokyo Joshi Pro continues their fall house show tour today with an event in Tokyo, which will feature more comings and goings on the roster. The coming is a comeback featuring the return of Neko Haruna, who has been out for over a year (since Fall 2023) due to injury but will make her return today. The going is today will be the final match for Runa Okubo before she goes on another extended hiatus. Like the first time she took a long break, this is to allow her to focus on education (she’s only 16 and started high school earlier this year) and was a mutual decision made between Okubo, the promotion and her parents. It’s not known how long she will be away this time but she will be back at some point.

Before the event begins there will be a draft meeting to determine the teams for a Raku Team vs. Pom Harajuku Team Battle at the 11/10 event.

Today’s event will be held at Ryogoku KFC Hall in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE. There will be no commentary. There are 7 matches scheduled including a NEXGENE Tournament match with no time limit, but I expect this to be a “regular” house show with a total running time of, not including the draft meeting, about 2 hours.

Today’s lineup (match order TBA):
Yuki Aino, Pom Harajuku & Raku vs. Neko Haruna, Suzume & Mahiro Kiryu
NEXGENE Tournament: Haru Kazashiro vs. Uta Takami
Miu Watanabe & Wakana Uehara vs. Mizuki & Shino Suzuki
Yuki Kamifuku vs. Runa Okubo
Miyu Yamashita & Maki Itoh vs. Rika Tatsumi & HIMAWARI
Shoko Nakajima & Yoshiko Hasegawa vs. Moka Miyamoto & Kaya Toribami
Arisu Endo & Toga vs. Kira Summer & Chika Nanase

Refresh this page occasionally for the latest results.

Updates below will begin at 8:30 PM PT/11:30 PM ET. The live stream is scheduled to begin 20 minutes before the event, so there’s a chance updates begin 10 minutes prior to the event if the draft meeting is shown.

8:10 PM PT UPDATE: The live stream has begun. We should go to the venue in 10-20 minutes depending on whether or not they show the draft meeting beforehand.

8:20 PM PT UPDATE: Live updates begin now.

We are LIVE from Ryogoku KFC Hall in Tokyo, Japan. There is no commentary.

The paid attendance will be announced after the event. Sayuri Namba was already in the ring for the draft meeting so no good look yet. These events typically do 200-250 so we’ll see. (UPDATE: The announced paid attendance was 350, a super full house/very near sellout. Very high for a KFC house show. Full capacity is, I believe, between 450-500. Clearly a lot of people came out to see Neko Haruna return)

They are doing a random name draw for teams for a Raku Army vs. Pom Harajuku Army battle on 11/10. The matches should begin in about 20 minutes.

The matches begin at 8:50 PM PT/11:50 PM ET. Lots of announcements beforehand including by Mizuki, Yuki Aino & Hyper Misao. More on those later (The announcements were the first outside Tokyo 2025 events on 1/11 at Kobe Art Center in Kobe and 1/12 at Okayama Mirai Hall in Okayama, and that Hyper Misao will return on 11/22).

Match 1: Arisu Endo & Toga vs. Kira Summer & Chika Nanase. 20 minute time limit
Result: Arisu Endo & Toga beat Kira Summer & Chika Nanase. Endo beat Nanase with a camel clutch.

Match 2: Yuki Aino, Pom Harajuku & Raku vs. Neko Haruna, Suzume & Mahiro Kiryu. 20 minute time limit
Result: Yuki Aino, Pom Harajuku & Raku beat Neko Haruna, Suzume & Mahiro Kiryu. Aino pinned Haruna after Venus DDT.

Match 3: NEXGENE Tournament: Haru Kazashiro vs. Uta Takami. No time limit
Reslut: Haru Kazashiro beat Uta Takami. As a result, Kazashiro advances to the Semifinals on 11/16 and will face the Wakana Uehara-Chika Nanase winner. That match will happen on 11/3.

Match 4: Yuki Kamifuku vs. Runa Okubo. 15 minute time limit
Result: Yuki Kamifuku beat Runa Okubo. Afterwards, Kamifuku left first as Okubo was able to address the crowd as this was her last match before she goes on an indefinite hiatus to focus on school. Understandably she was very emotional as she thanked the fans for their support. She will be back some day, we just don’t know when.

Match 5: Shoko Nakajima & Yoshiko Hasegawa vs. Moka Miyamoto & Kaya Toribami. 20 minute time limit
Result: Moka Miyamoto & Kaya Toribami beat Shoko Nakajima & Yoshiko Hasegawa. Miyamoto beat Hasegawa with Rashomon.

Match 6: Miyu Yamashita & Maki Itoh vs. Rika Tatsumi & HIMAWARI. 20 minute time limit
Result: Miyu Yamashita & Maki Itoh beat Rika Tatsumi & HIMAWARI. Yamashita pinned HIMAWARI after Skull Kick.

Main Event: Miu Watanabe & Wakana Uehara vs. Mizuki & Shino Suzuki. 20 minute time limit
Result: Miu Watanabe & Wakana Uehara beat Mizuki & Shino Suzuki. Watanabe pinned Suzuki after Teardrop.

The next event is 11/3 at G Messe Gunma in Gunma, a Mahiro Kiryu hometown event. There will be no live broadcast.

Post-show note: Here ate the draft results from the start of the event for 11/10:

Team Raku-Raku, HIMAWARI, Ryo Mizunami, Ram Kaichow, Yuki Arai, Haru Kazashiro, Shino Suzuki, Chika Nanase

Team Harajuku-Pom Harajuku, Kaya Toribami, Mahiro Kiryu, Neko Haruna, Yoshiko Hasegawa, Uta Takami, Kira Summer, Toga. Very disappointed at no Max The Impaler of course…

Event format TBA but lucky for us it will be a live broadcast on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.

Stardom 10/27/24 LIVE Results

Stardom continues the Goddess Of Stardom Tag League today with a second event in Tokyo. Today’s event mostly focuses on the Red Block which will have 3 of the 4 scheduled tournament matches with only one Blue Block match. The non-tournament portion of highlighted by a special appearance from legendary villain Dump Matsumoto, who has experienced a recent resurgence thanks to a Netflix series based loosely on her life and career and has been more in demand as a result. She’ll be an a 10-woman tag match with longtime partner ZAP and H.A.T.E. against the Cosmic Angels faction. There also will be a title match today as Mei Seira defends the High Speed Championship against Yuna Mizumori.

Today’s event will be held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on Stardom World. There likely will be no commentary. With 8 matches today and based partly on how yesterday went I anticipate today’s event having a running time of about 2 1/4 hours, the longest it could go is a little over 2 1/2 hours, again that partly depends on if there’s an intermission and how long it is (yesterday’s break was just 5 minutes).

Today’s lineup (match order TBA):
Tam Nakano, Natsupoi, Saori Anou, Aya Sakura & Sayaka Kurara vs. Dump Matsumoto, ZAP, Natsuko Tora, Momo Watanabe & Ruaka
Mina Shirakawa vs. Saya Iida & Lady C in a 3-way
Starlight Kid & Suzu Suzuki vs. Hina & Ranna Yagami
Goddess Of Stardom Tag League:
Red Block:
Hazuki & Koguma vs. Syuri & Saki Kashima
Momo Kohgo & Mayu Iwatani vs. Konami & Saya Kamitani
Maika & HANAKO vs. AZM & Miyu Amasaki
Blue Block:
Waka Tsukiyama & Rian vs. Rina & Azusa Inaba
High Speed Champion Mei Seira vs. Yuna Mizumori for the title

Refresh this page occasionally for the latest results.

Updates below will begin at 7:30 PM PT/10:30 PM ET.

6:30 PM PT UPDATE: You will also be able to watch the first 2 matches FOR FREE on YouTube. The YouTube broadcast is scheduled to begin at 7:15 PM PT/10:15 PM ET. The YT thumbnail suggests one of those first 2 matches will be Hazuki & Koguma vs. Syuri & Saki Kashima in the tournament.

7:10 PM PT UPDATE: The live stream should begin shortly. Stardom World is setting it up now.

7:15 PM PT UPDATE: Apparent technical issues. Live stream links are not working yet on Stardom World and YouTube start is delayed.

7:20 PM PT UPDATE: Suzu Suzuki has just been pulled off the event. The always-vague poor health/physical condition. The tag team match she was in is now off and the 3-way is now Mina Shirakawa, Saya Iida & Starlight Kid vs. Hina, Lady C & Ranna Yagami.

Both Stardom World and YouTube broadcasts have now started.

7:26 PM PT UPDATE: Live updates begin now.

We are LIVE from Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan. There is no commentary.

The paid attendance will be announced after the event. Crowd still filing in but it’s a close to full capacity setup and it’s mostly full already from what we can see and filling up even more. Looks like it’s going to be around 1000 if not more. (UPDATE: The announced paid attendance was 1292)

The matches should begin in about 10 minutes. At the start of the event the changes to the card are announced. Good news for the YouTube crowd-the 10-woman tag is up first then the first tournament tag match. The High Speed Championship match will be today’s main event.

The matches begin at 7:33 PM PT/10:33 PM ET.

Match 1: Tam Nakano, Natsupoi, Saori Anou, Aya Sakura & Sayaka Kurara vs. Dump Matsumoto, ZAP, Natsuko Tora, Momo Watanabe & Ruaka. 30 minute time limit
Result: Dump Matsumoto, ZAP, Natsuko Tora, Momo Watanabe & Ruaka beat Tam Nakano, Natsupoi, Saori Anou, Aya Sakura & Sayaka Kurara. Matsumoto pinned Kurara after red mist spraying and a cross body splash. A wacky, fun, all over the place brawl that was mostly about the heels beating down Kurara and Matsumoto beating down everyone including the ring announcer and referee. Afterwards, Matsumoto with microphone. Hard to understand what she was saying because of Japanese but at one point it seems her attention turned to Stardom President Taro Okada, who was at ringside. Okada with microphone then, he has no love for H.A.T.E. Matsumoto put Tora over then handed the microphone over. Naturally huge reactions for the legendary heel.

Quick break for ring cleaning.

Match 2: Goddess Of Stardom Tournament Red Block: Hazuki & Koguma vs. Syuri & Saki Kashima. 20 minute time limit
Result: Syuri & Saki Kashime beat Hazuki & Koguma. Kashima pinned Hazuki. Over in just seconds. Flash win out of nowhere. The Low Speed Genius Trickster Strikes Again.
Syuri & Kashima are 2-0, 4 points. Hazuki & Koguma are 1-1, 2 points

The YouTube broadcast ends here.

Match 3: Goddess Of Stardom Tournament Blue Block: Waka Tsukiyama & Rian vs. Rina & Azusa Inaba. 20 minute time limit
Result: Waka Tsukiyama & Rian ebat Rina & Azusa Inaba. Tsukiyama pinned Inaba with Osui Suplex.
Tsukiyama & Rian are 2-0, 4 points. Rina & Inaba are 0-1, 0 points. Bracket busters?

Match 4: Mina Shirakawa, Saya Iida & Starlight Kid vs. Hina, Lady C & Ranna Yagami.. 20 minute time limit
Result: Mina Shirakawa, Saya Iida & Starlight Kid beat Hina, Lady C & Ranna Yagami. Iida pinned C.

Quick break for ring cleaning.

Match 5: Goddess Of Stardom Tournament Red Block: Momo Kohgo & Mayu Iwatani vs. Konami & Saya Kamitani. 20 minute time limit
Result: Konami & Saya Kamitani beat Momo Kohgo & Mayu Iwatani. Kamitani pinned Iwatani after a Konami spray can attack.
Both teams are 1-1, 2 points.

Match 6: Goddess Of Stardom Tournament Red Block: Maika & HANAKO vs. AZM & Miyu Amasaki. 20 minute time limit
Result: Maika & HANAKO beat AZM & Miyu Amasaki. HANAKO beat Amasaki with a standing arm & neck choke.
Maika & HANAKO are 1-0, 2 points. AZM & Amasaki are 0-2, 0 points.

Main Event: High Speed Champion Mei Seira vs. Yuna Mizumori for the title. 15 minute time limit
Result: High Speed Champion Mei Seira beat Yuna Mizumori to retain the title. V2 for Seira. Just before the 5 minute mark there was a spot where Mizumori may have injured her foot or lower leg when trying to dive through the ropes to the outside and her feet/ankles caught the bottom rope, causing Mizumori to land awkwardly. She appeared to be okay and finished the match with seemingly little to no issue though.

The next event is Thursday at Takamatsu Symbol Tower in Kagawa. There will be no live broadcast.

Stardom 10/26/24 LIVE Results

Stardom kicks off the 14th Goddess Of Stardom Tag League today, their annual tag team tournament that features the entire roster, or as close to it as reasonably possible. This year that’s 18 teams split into 2 blocks with a standard round-robin format. The top 3 teams in each block will advance but only the winner of each block goes to the Semifinals. The 2nd & 3rd place teams face each other for that second Semifinals spot. The tournament will run most of the rest of the year until just before the promotion’s year-end blowout events in December. Today the tournament begins with 5 matches, 2 from the Blue Block and 3 from the Red Block.

Today’s event will be held at Shinjuku Sumitomo Hall in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on Stardom World. There likely will be no commentary. I’m not yet sure what the time limits for tournament matches will be (could be the 30 minutes standard but it’s Stardom so I’m thinking 20 minutes) and there are 2 non-tournament matches that may be shorter, regardless I expect the running time to be just over 2 hours, close to 2 1/2 hours if there’s an intermission.

Today’s lineup (match order TBA):
Mina Shirakawa, Maika & HANAKO vs. Suzu Suzuki, Saya Iida & Ranna Yagami
Starlight Kid & Haruka Umesaki vs. Momo Watanabe & Rina
Goddess Of Stardom Tournament:
Red Block:
Syuri & Saki Kashima vs. Konami & Saya Kamitani
Mayu Iwatani & Momo Kohgo vs. AZM & Miyu Amasaki
Hazuki & Koguma vs. Natsuko Tora & Ruaka
Blue Block:
Natsupoi & Saori Anou vs. Mei Seira & Cohaku
Hina & Lady C vs. Waka Tsukiyama & Rian

Refresh this page occasionally for the latest results.

Updates below will begin at 9 PM PT/midnight ET.

7:30 PM PT UPDATE You will also be able to watch the first 2 matches FOR FREE on YouTube.

8:55 PM PT UPDATE: Live updates begin now.

We are LIVE from Shinjuku Sumitomo Hall in Tokyo, Japan. There is no commentary.

The paid attendance will be announced later today or tomorrow. While it appears the venue’s max listed capacity is around 2000, the setup is for much smaller. The crowd is still filing in but the setup looks like for around 500, right now I’ll predict an actual number of around 400. (UPDATE: The announced paid attendance was 499, a full house/near sellout)

The matches should begin in about 10 minutes. Tournament matches will be 20 minute time limit, today’s main event will be Hazuki & Koguma vs. Natsuko Tora & Ruaka.

The matches begin at 9:05 PM PT/12:05 AM ST.

Match 1: Goddess Of Stardom Tag League Tournament Blue Block: Natsupoi & Saori Anou vs. Mei Seira & Cohaku (WAVE). 20 minute time limit

The YouTube broadcast ends here.

Result: Double Countout. Quickly spilled outside the ring and became a brawl all over the place.

Goddess Of Stardom Tag League Tournament Red Block:
Match 5: Syuri & Saki Kashima vs. Konami & Saya Kamitani. 20 minute time limit
Result: Syuri & Saki Kashima beat Konami & Saya Kamitani. Syuri beat Konami.
Syuri & Kashima are 1-0, 2 points. Konami & Kamitani are 0-1, 0 points.

Iwatani & Kohgo are 1-0, 2 points. AZM & Amasaki are 0-1, 0 points.
Afterwards, as Iwatani & AZM stared, Momo Watanabe came out. With microphone. IWGP Women’s Championship challenge. Iwatani comments got laughs from the crowd and a Watanabe beatdown. Watanabe then posed with the belt while choking Iwatani with her foot. I guess we’ll see where this goes in the coming days, I could see a match happening at HISTORIC X-OVER 2 in a couple weeks or at the year-end events.

Main Event: Hazuki & Koguma vs. Natsuko Tora & Ruaka. 20 minute time limit
Result: Hazuki & Koguma beat Natsuko Tora & Ruaka. Hazuki pinned Ruaka.
Hazuki & Koguma are 1-0, 2 points. Tora & Ruaka are 0-1, 0 points.

The next event is tomorrow at Korakuen Hall. Live streaming on Stardom World will begin at 7:30 PM PT/10:30 PM ET. Live results are tentatively planned (other events happening around that time though).
