DDT Pro Wrestling 10/19/25 LIVE Results (Updated Pre-Show)

DDT runs their monthly Tokyo major event today, this month titled “WRESTLING HARVEST-The Sky Dyed In Madder”. It’s mostly about tag teams today including 2 title matches, for both the KO-D Tag Team and KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Championships with the latter again featuring Yuki Ueno & Minoru Suzuki on opposite sides of a title clash. That also means another Kaisei Takeshi appearance so the ladies will be in the stands in full force in support of The Rampage. O-MENZ Kumadori also returns for his latest appearance which promises more excitement and definitely a ladies’ day atmosphere.

Today’s event will be held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE in Japanese. Koshihikari (?) Mochida will be a guest on commentary. It’s a regular Korakuen card with 7 matches plus the 2 title matches so it may run a little longer than usual, I’ll guess the running time will be closer to 3 hours (although I said that last night for Tokyo Joshi Pro and they kept it close to 2 1/2 hours).

Today’s lineup (updated):
Naomi Yoshimura, Kazuma Sumi & Takao Soma vs. Munetatsu Nakamura, Keisuke Ishii & Hinata Kasai
Chris Brookes, Antonio Honda & Takeshi Masada vs. Super Sasadango Machine, Akito & Fuminori Abe
Jun Akiyama & Tomomitsu Matsunaga vs. Daichi Sato & Rukiya
MAO, KANON, Kazuma Sumi & O-MENZ Kumadori vs. Daisuke Sasaki, MJ Paul, Hideki Okatani & Illusion (See below update)
Shinya Aoki vs. Kazuki Hirata
KO-D Tag Team Champions Yuki Iino & Yukio Naya vs. Kazusada Higuchi & Yuki Ishida for the titles
KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Champions Yuki Ueno, Kaisei Takechi & Minoru Suzuki vs. Minoru Suzuki, HARASHIMA & Yuya Koroku for the titles

Updates below will begin at 7:30 PM PT/10:30 PM ET. The live stream is scheduled to begin 20 minutes before the event.

(On a side note, while you’re waiting for this event tonight you can pass time by watching the Pro Wrestling NOAH WRESTLE ODYSSEY event from last weekend, which will be removed from the ABEMA paywall and available on WRESTLE UNIVERSE tonight beginning at 6 PM PT/9 PM ET)

PRE-SHOW UPDATE (6:20 PM PT/9:20 PM ET): There have been last-second changes to the card as Illusion is now off. The always vague poor health. Kazuma Sumi has been removed from that match as well so the 8-man tag is now a 6-man tag. Keisuke Ishii has been added to the card and the first match will now be Yoshimura, Soma & Sumi vs. Nakamura, Kasai & Ishii.

7:10 PM PT UPDATE: The live stream has begun. We should be going to the venue in 10-15 minutes.

The matches begin at 7:35 PM PT/10:35 PM ET.

Match 5: Shinya Aoki vs. Kazuki Hirata. 30 minute time limit
Result: Kazuki Hirata beat Shinya Aoki. With help from GM Imabayashi, who interfered as revenge from moments before when Aoki went on a outsid-ering rampage and laid out everyone-ring boys, wrestlers and the referee then choked out Imabayashi. Glorified comedy match.

Match 6: KO-D Tag Team Champions Yuki Iino & Yukio Naya vs. Kazusada Higuchi & Yuki Ishida for the titles. 1 Hour time limit
Result: KO-D Tag Team Champions Yuki Iino & Yukio Naya beat Kazusada Higuchi & Yuki Ishida to retain the titles. Naya pinned Ishida after The World’s Largest Backdrop. V5 for the champs. Afterwards, GM Imabayashi with microphone. He introduces the next challengers…Chihiro Hashimoto & Yuu!?! That match will happen on 11/3 at Ryogoku Kokugikan. Iino apparently was en fuego over this. I’d be worried about those deplorable Pheromones trying to come back for this one…oh, and actually that was a comedy rampage Iino was on. As this was wrapping up, KIMIHIRO came out with MAO & KANON. Seems they want in on the title match too. And it’s now official-the 11/3 match is now a 3-way. That got Iino to stop his comedy rampage in the crowd.

Main Event: KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Champions Yuki Ueno, Kaisei Takechi & To-y vs. Minoru Suzuki, HARASHIMA & Yuya Koroku for the titles. 1 Hour time limit

Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling “Additional Attack ’25” LIVE Results (10/18/25) (Updated)

Tokyo Joshi Pro runs their next major event, Additional Attack ’25, today in Tokyo. It’s another blowout event with all 3 titles in the line headlined by Miu Watanabe defending the Princess Of Princess Championsihp against Yuki Aino, who steps up for her first shot at the top title. In the other title matches, Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara defend the Princess Tag Team Championship against the relatively new team of Yuna Manase & Toga while Arisu Endo defends the International Princess Championship against the latest international challenger, Alice Crowley. Farther down the card are a trio of “Level Up Trials” where some of the younger talent on the roster take on veterans.

The promotion has announced that both Rika Tatsumi & HIMAWARI are off this event due to an excursion to China. That’ll take some early post-title match build out of the event because HIMAWARI is next for whoever is the Princess Tag Team Champions after today along with Shino Suzuki.

Today’s event will be held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE in Japanese and English. Actress Mio Matsuda will be a guest on Japanese commentary. Kira Summer will be on English commentary after her match. And we will have STREAMERS! This is a major event with 9 matches scheduled with no intermission so it will run longer than a normal Korakuen event, probably going around 3 hours.

Today’s lineup:
Mifu Ashida & Ren Konatsu vs. Kira Summer & Chika Nanase
Raku vs. Pom Harajuku, Mahiro Kiryu, Suzume & Kaya Toribami in a 5-way. This will be for the DDT Iron Man Heavymetalweight Championshp as apparently there were 2 title changes since the last event, when it ended with Rise Shirai’s Binder as the champion and Kiryu was the most recent as she is now the 1778th Champion. As always, subject to change
Miyu Yamashita vs. Shino Suzuki
Shoko Nakajima vs. Uta Takami
Mizuki vs. Haru Kazashiro
Yuki Arai vs. Hyper Misao
International Princess Champion Arisu Endo vs. Alice Crowley for the title
Princess Tag Team Champions Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara vs. Yuna Manase & Toga for the titles
Princess Of Princess Champion Miu Watanabe vs. Yuki Aino for the title

Updates below will begin at 7:30 PM PT/10:30 PM ET. The live stream is scheduled to begin 20 minutes before the event.

6:45 PM PT UPDATE: The live stream beginning has been moved up 5 minutes and will now begin at 7:05 PM PT/10:05 PM ET. TJPW’s social media accounts hint at going to the venue around 15 minutes before the event begins.

7:05 PM PT UPDATE: The live stream has begun. We should be going to the venue in about 10 minutes.

7:15 PM PT UPDATE: Live updates begin now.

We are LIVE from Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Your hosts are Haruo Murata, Kagehiro Osano, Sayoko Mita & special guest Mio Matsuda. Your English host is Mr. Haku, who will be joined later by Kira Summer.

The paid attendance will be announced after the event. It’s the old pandemic reduced capacity setup today with 2/3 of the opposite-hard-camera bleachers blocked off for commentary with advance ticket sales that seemed to be about average, so I’m going with my “standard” Korakuen prediction of around 700. With this setup a sellout, if it happened, would be around 1100. (UPDATE: The announced paid attendance was 719)

The matches should begin in about 30 minutes. Opening announcements begin at 7:20 PM PT/`10:20 PM ET.

The matches begin at 7:33 PM PT/10:33 PM ET.

Match 1: Mifu Ashida & Ren Konatsu vs. Kira Summer & Chika Nanase. 20 minute time limit
Result: Kira Summer & Chika Nanase beat Mifu Ashida & Ren Konatsu. Summer pinned Konatsu after a Samoan drop. Summer will join English commentary shortly.

Match 2: DDT Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion Mahiro Kiryu vs. Raku, Pom Harajuku, Suzume & Kaya Toribami in a 5-way for the title. 20 minute time limit
Result: DDT Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion Mahiro Kiryu beat Raku, Pom Harajuku, Suzume & Kaya Toribami in a 5-way by pinning Harajuku to retain the title. But Raku was hot on her heels afterwards and remember it’s a 24/7 title as long as a referee is present so…

Match 3: Miyu Yamashita vs. Shino Suzuki. 15 minute time limit
Result: Miyu Yamashita beat Shino Suzuki

Match 4: Shoko Nakajima vs. Uta Takami. 15 minute time limit
Result: Shoko Nakajima beat Uta Takami

Match 5: Mizuki vs. Haru Kazashiro. 15 minute time limit (Mizuki came out with a completely new look, trading her signature white outfit for a more goth look with black, white/silver and pink, almost could be mistaken for Rika Tatsumi at first)
Result: Mizuki beat Haru Kazashiro

In news that will have Miu Watanabe squealing uncontrollably as she is a superfan of them, J-Pop girl group Ocha Norma is announced for appearing at the Korakuen event on 12/7.

Match 6: Yuki Arai vs. Hyper Misao. 15 minute time limit. They made last-second changes to the rules including 2 count pinfalls, after which is a trivia question. So in essence they made it a comedy match.
Result: Yuki Arai beat Hyper Misao. Doesn’t matter what the match was now because Arai wins and I’m happy.

Match 7: International Princess Champion Arisu Endo vs. Alice Crowley for the title. 30 minute time limit
Result: International Princess Champion Arisu Endo beat Alice Crowley to retain the title. V1 for Endo.

Match 8: Princess Tag Team Champions Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara vs. Yuna Manase (Ganabre Pro) & Toga for the titles. 30 minute time limit
Result: Princess Tag Team Champions Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara beat Yuna Manase & Toga to retain the titles. Uehara pinned Toga after Tornado. V1 for the champs. Next up: As previously announced, HIMAWARI (not at today’s event) & Shino Suzuki. That match will happen on 11/9.

Main Event: Princess Of Princess Champion Miu Watanabe vs. Yuki Aino for the title. 30 minute time limit
Result: Princess Of Princess Champion Miu Watanabe beat Yuki Aino to retain the title. V1 for Watanabe. A valiant effort by Aino in her first PoP title shot, and hopefully not her last. I still believe she will be champion someday. Next up: J-Rod, the latest US and potential/former WWE wrestler TJPW is bringing over. That match will happen on 11/9.

The next event is tomorrow at G Messe Gunma in Gunma. There will be no live broadcast. On demand Wednesday.

UPDATE: There have been last-minute changes to tomorrow’s event because after their match today, Endo & Crowley, who were in separate matches on tomorrow’s event, requested to team up. Endo was supposed to team with Shino Suzuki to face Mizuki & Haru Kazashiro, while Crowley was to have teamed with Yuki Arai & Uta Takami to face Yuki Kamifuku, Wakana Uehara & Kaya Toribami. It’s now Endo & Crowley vs. Mizuki & Kazashiro and Arai, Suzuki & Takami vs. Kamifuku, Uehara & Toribami.

BREAKING: Referee Killed By Bear Attack In Japan

Bear attacks are something I’m used to hearing about on local news living in northern California (I’m 2-3 hours from the Lake Tahoe area, but they have also been unusually higher now in parts of Japan recently. Unfortunately the latest such attack hit the wrestling community hard as Puroresu Today reports referee Katsumi Sasazaki, who worked with ZERO1 and Rossy Ogawa’s Marigold promotion, has been killed by a bear. He was 60. It sounds like the incident happened yesterday while he was working at a hot spring inn in Kitakami City in Iwate Prefecture. His body was found today and the bear responsible was killed. The news of his death was shared by Ogawa, who also mourned the sudden death as he recently worked in Marigold.

I join the Japanese wrestling community in mourning this unexpected and tragic loss. We pray for peace for Sasazaki’s soul.

Injury Report: The End For The Golden One?

Kota Ibushi hasn’t wrestled much the last few years due to injuries since an ugly departure from New Japan, although he recently returned to All Elite Wrestling. And unfortunately got injured again recently and early rumors are it’s bad and could be the end for Ibushi. Broken femur. Out 2 years. And that’s best case. Worst case is his career is over. Ibushi would be 45 or 46 if he can’t return before 2028. The injury happened on 10/8 for a match that was taped and aired last Saturday, and he’s already had surgery.

More as it becomes available.

New Japan News: Post-Event Presser Notes

Lots of New Japan news from today’s post-KING OF PRO WRESTLING press conference in Tokyo:

NEW IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Konosuke Takeshita was the feature attraction. Nothing definite about Tokyo Dome or what’s next given he is signed to 4 different promotions (New Japan, DDT, All Elite Wrestling) but a Hirooki Goto rematch is next. That match will happen on 11/2 at the final Hiroshi Tanahashi hometown event in Gifu.

On 11/2 Tanahashi also will try for one last title in his career (maybe) when he faces NEW IWGP Global Champion Yota Tsuji for the title.

One champion who will be at Tokyo Dome is Stardom top star Saya Kamitani. The World Of Stardom Champion and STRONG Women’s Champion will make her debut at the venue on 1/4, further details TBA.

New signee Aaron Wolf will also debut at Tokyo Dome and his debut match will be against NEW NEVER Openweight Champion EVIL, who wants it to be a NON- TITLE match should he still be champion then, but of course he does. Because he is EVIL! (Indeeeeeeeed!)

The trams for the upcoming Super Jr. Tag League were announced as well. This year it’s a 12-team field in 2 blocks with a round-robin format. The participating teams:

Block A: Ryusuke Taguchi & Dragon Dia, Yoh & Master Wato, Hiromu Takahashi & Gedo, Clark Connors & Daiki Nagai, Templario & Jacob Austin Young, DOUKI & Sho

Block B: El Desperado & KUIKAI, Tiger Mask 4 & YAMATO, KUSHIDA & Yuki Yoshioka, Robbie Eagles & Kosei Fujita, Taiji Ishimori & Robbie X, Yoshinobu Kanemaru & Dick Togo

The winners of each block will advance to the Finals.

Finally, the traditional post-Tokyo Done opening event of the year is set for 2026. New Year Dash!! will be held on 1/5 at Ota City General Gym in Tokyo.
